Squirrels need food too. It is amazing how it can hold on upside down and eat.

Mia is beautiful and it was so cute seeing her roll around.

I have a bird feeder set up like yours at a window and I tell my kitty to go watch bird TV her favorite show is on when all the birds are feeding. lol

I bet whoever lived there before you probably also fed the birds and squirrels. The one on the bird feeder was looking right into the house like he/she has done it before.

I wonder if you sit out on that patio for a while if the squirrels will try to come near like they do in parks? Maybe one will come right up and sit on your shoulder? ☻

I did that in Madison Park in NYC last year, I had squirrels sitting and eating out of my hands. They were sitting on my shoulders, my knees... and then a red squirrel bit my hand twice. That was the end of that! hehe

The woodpeckers are really busy this morning at my feeder. The Females won't come, but the Males come and then go feed the Females, it's all so interesting! I would love to see a squirrel video! Hugs

Now that I have a squirrel proof feeder, the squirrels aren't bothering the feeder, but there is one that keeps coming back... Oh, the cardinal is in the tree right now! so pretty! Hugs

I always thought squirrels were so cute. But mostly that is because we don't have them. Are they a nuisance? I would hate to put out bird feed and have them eating it hahaha

I saw on Martha once some squirrel-proof feeders. I kinda felt sorry for them, as it kinda spins them and they fly off. At least they are cute :)

When the squirrels are on the feeder, the birds don't come. I had to go buy a squirrel proof feeder, it's different... the weight of the squirrel shuts down the seed portals, so now the squirrels eat the dropped seeds that fall on the roof of the shed. Everyone is happy now... and no spinning and flying off! hugs, Beth!

Cool, nature's own entertainment! I have an albino squirrel in the yard, its so cool - solid white! Mia is adorable, she is so happy!!!

I love to watch squirrels. I forget what my dad did when he had squirrels getting into his bird feeders. He started putting ears of dried corn at the base of it I think but I can't remember. :( I think it was in hopes to distract them from the bird food. hehe

I was given money for my birthday to go buy a squirrel proof feeder. Now the squirrels enjoy the seed on top of the shed's roof, and the birds can enjoy the feeder. I love watching everything going on! hehe.
