The Sonic the Hedgehog comic series has a Guinness World Record for longest running comic based on a video game. Most comic series don't last more than a few years, even offshoot series of popular characters like Batman and the X-Men.

Those guys at the Sonic comic are doing something right. Sega needs to wake up and let THEM head up the story design theam if they want this franchise to go on, it would definitely help remove ludicrous things like the human-hedgehog romance in the '06 game.

Seems Sonic Colors has given Sonic a turn in the right direction (short of the five years I mentioned a year or so ago). It's not exactly what fans expected, but it's certainly a fun game.

Following up on Silver, perhaps his name could have been changed at least. A few tweaks and he would have more fans. (Sorry, to the Silver fans for my comment from last year.)

sonic colors and StH4 look like what the fan base has always wanted. the black knight was good but the cutscenes slowed it down to much for me. sonic 06 was overall terrible and PO'd almost every sonaze fan. especaily the ending with silver. i also believe that the fan base is not down but missing because if sonic color and 4 turn out like we hope people will come back

Why does everyone hate sonic unleashed? I think the night stages do not break the experience, i think they are quite enjoyable. The day is absolutely perfect, my issue is the fact that you need medals to go on. But that is fixed in the wii/ps2 version.They combine unleashe with sonic and knuckles, boom, you have the perfect game.
