Islam is the first time in history where women and children were treated with proper respect. Befroe islam people used to bury ther women folk alive and, your own role models, the british just gave women the right to vote within the past 100 years. In the 1800 it was believed women had no soul y your role models and heros. But Islam taght the world how to treat a woman properly. Even to this day 1/4 of british women suffer from domestic violence.

A mere look at Sharia civil law would reflect how biased it is towards the male members of the society. All religions have patriarchal leanings but while most seem to be willing to accept it and change for good, Muslims remain orthodox and resistant to change.

But pl. don't say that Only Deoband uplift flag of Islam. We can say Deoband had played Vital Role. being a True Muslim you should make a pure and fine just judgement. What about other Insitition like.e.g Bralvi , Ahle - Hadith , Moudadi , Hazrat Wahab etc.

prophet Mohammed(S) advised him to go to an area and build an Islamic school as by 1867 all of the madarasaas were destroyed. THat area known as DEOBAND has been glowing the light of Islam thoroughout the world.
