@guitarstar31 In Adobe Premiere. You just have to upload the video, put it on a timeline and then click on the preview to make it smaller by dragging one of its corners. Then you upload another video, resize, move and so on.

1. I recorded videos (me playing piano, guitar, singing etc.)

2. I cut it into smaller parts using premiere and put it into one folder.

3. Then I opened it in premiere and synced music with video on a timeline.

To split screen into several parts you have to make video smaller and drag it wherever you want in preview window. Actually that's all my knowledge about adobe premiere, but I'm sure it's quite powerful application but you must spend some time watching some tutorials.

Have you tried using Reaper recording software? It is shareware, but it has a very generous free trial period, and the cost for home use is very fair.

The reason I suggest it is it runs very efficiently, so you might be able to squeeze it into your old PC. ;)
