  • This American car isn't bad it just doesn't compete with European cars. Ford is an American brand, but it's car's in Europe are completely different to those in the US. So when you bring a car that is pretty unaltered over here it's not quite gonna work just like when Renault tried it with you guys that didn't work - different tastes and needs.

  • HEY MAN FUCK YOU!! GO AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • ive never heard of the diseal in the united states. but the gas gets 30mpg which is great. in 2010 its gonna get 31

  • if our economy is shit right now, why would we buy foreign cars, we need to support american companies and buy from Ford, GMC, Dodge/Chrystler and keep the money here in America. Dont you people agree? Im gonna buy one of these in 2 weeks

  • i think your gonna lease it cause its the crissis and you don't have the cash

  • @ kfl21- nah I actually got a new Ford Flex, i posted that about 5 months ago, i went to my bank got a loan from the bank to fully pay the car, payed it and owe my bank the money now, not the dealer. I'm making big payments and will pay it off completely by September this year. I make more than enough money to pay it off but why do that when i can just improve my credit? ^_^.

  • great car,,, i love my caly:)

  • I love my caliber...it truly is a great car

  • oh I see I see, it doesn't have a big dick for you to sit on, NOW THAT'S WHY IS NOT AT EUROPEAN STANDARS, OF COURSE....

  • ownt

  • Ok so to thoose of you that think the interior does not look good. What are you smoking? I'd like some. When was the last time you got in to car that had an interior with chromed bezzeled gages, chromed shift knob and highly ergonmic at the same time? those of you that feel the car is not up to euporean standards, tell you what, will leather wrap the steering wheel and dashboard so you can feel its up to your standards. Oh wait a second you guys are dumb enough to pay $8.00 per gallon for gas.

  • Yeah that's my car in black, Greetings from Mexico City!

  • Im a 22 year old guy from sweden and i bought one 3 days ago and i LOVE IT .. its great so MR ENGLAND go and posh uppp ure asss

  • Just got mine. Love it and the kids enjoy riding in it.

  • "The interior may be styled well for American's, but not Europeans." May I speak for all American's when I say...GO FUCK YOURSELF!!! Maybe next time we won't bail Europe out of their problems.

  • you, emireitor, and mstrahle 25 are right. How the hell are European standards better than American? Fuck Europe. The materials arent the best, but your also getting the car for around $18,000. Everyone knows American cars are better. They look better, perform better, and stay nice longer. The only European car I might consider buying, is a VW. even then, they suck ass. Dont even get me started on Japanese cars.......

  • haahhahaha your stupidity underwhelms me.

  • easily overwhelmed, thats a side effect of retardation. should get that checked.

  • maybe you should because i said underwhelmed.

  • hard plastic!

  • i was in a rental one, and it had black insides and i thought it was very nice, i also did drivers edge course in it, it performed nicely

  • I have an 07 Caliber R/T Not one complaint, better horsepower than chevy's HHR, Toyotas Matrix, Pontiac's Vibe or the fords focus,

handles fine, and interior is Futuristic, tons of cargo room, and fine gas mileage

    Ill take it just fine.

  • That doesn't look 1) Very nice, or 2) ANYTHING like a small car. I'd rather have a Corolla. Sorry, Dodge!

  • it sucks

  • I had one this weekend for camping. The interior is really bad, the only thing I liked is the glove compartment, but very very cheap plastic. I had a gas engine, and it's ridicolously lazy on the highway. It doesn't take curves very well either, likes to go straight. I would definitely pay more for a Focus, a Mazda 3, an Altea or a Golf, you spend xxx money in a car and then for not spending 1000-2000 more, you stay with a crappy one, very smart. For me is a comptetitor for Hyundays or Daewoos.

  • lol you talking about cheap cars.Deawoos is one.I know because a got a Chevrolet Aveo (i,M living in Quebec) so Aveo is a Deawoo.I like my car but a rent it because is cheapper than they other. If you want a cheap car made with Pepsi empy can.Go buy a Coraan car.Have a nice day

  • Agreed, that was my point

  • Great Car!

  • Just got mine. Love it and the kids enjoy riding in it. It has much more room than my sports car.

  • The question is, would you pay £2000 for a Ford Focus? Not me.

  • So the Dash is plastic, the centre console is plastic...even the head rest is plastic!? No wonder its cheap. Cheap hard plastic, if it has leather interior, it would be the best.

  • went for a 2 hour test drive in a caliber today and its lush. The european cars are over priced and have awful interior

  • exactly, european cars are why to expensive, like the petrol, should have been born in the USA for that matter

  • No. The interior is NOT good by our standards. Every review I have seen of the Caliber mentions how horrible the interior is.

Which is unfortunate considering how important this car is for Dodge.

  • The interior is just fine, I own an '08 SXT and have no grievance (keep in mind its a $16,000 base price car) Now since you have Pontiac in your handle, I can think of more than a handful of piss ass Pontiac interiors that come in cars costing twice as much. As far as European standards go, if you want leather in a car that your kids might ride around in or your young buddies and damage your "posh" interior be my guest, I will stick with an interior thats easy to clean and hard to wreck.
