He is famous enough. No-one on earth can do Judy better. I remember Jim on the tonight show performing JUDY while she was still alive ! (pre-1969). She L-O-V-E-D- Jim ! The greatest 'mimic' in the world, imitating the greatesr singer of the 20th century !!! Brad Savage ---
no no no it cant be. but it is. if judy ever came back, its here in jim....the voice is identical, the mannerisms, even the look. i just hope he goes home gets drunk, takes pills, and marries an obvious homosexual
I used to see Jim Bailey on American TV back in the late 60s/70s.You know, Carol Burnett Show, maybe "Laugh In."Others."I don't like to go anywhere by myself, but I drove from Orange County, CA up to the San Fernando Valley, by myself, probably in 1995 or 1996.He was performing at a high school, maybe Burbank,I don't remember. He did only Judy, from the "Live at Carnegie Hall" album.Thought I was lucky enough to have actually seen her.I saw my mom cry twice: once when Dad died, when Judy died.
he has done Liza Minnelli once on stage and Liza came out on stage and they actually did a duet! And Liza, asked him to portray her mom,Judy once more and they did a "mother/daughter"duet,for one time!
Why is Jim not world famous? This is true female impersonation in it's true art form. Bravo,Jim,what a master you are.
