This is all too common. it goes on all over the place in the UK, our family was a victim too of SS. It was the media that finally got them to back off, the SS apologised on the 6 o clock news and said our case was an isolated incident. We then became more aware and more intune with other items on the news and in newspapers etc and found out that its rife and going on under everyones nose's but being kept secret because of the way ss and the courts work. Good Luck and carry on fighting.
I've said this so many times: we need to go on the offensive about this. We need to oppose the assumption that schools are educational institutions, emphasise that almost all parents home educate, stop calling it home education and portray state schools as a last resort childcare option alone. We also need to lobby for the integration of schoolchildren into the community by campaigning for the closure of urban school libraries and switching public funding away from schools.
Social Services have always been liars. Back in 1977 a freind of mine broke into our school and helped himself to the canoes in the outdoor swimming pool that the school had. A Social Worker visited his parents when he got found out. She interviewed his parents first then him. When she asked him what he liked doing he said he loved playing music. The Social Worker seized on this and told him that his parents were sick of his loud music. But they hadn't even said a word about his music.
If a farmer owns cattle then he also owns their offspring as well. Maybe not registering the children in the first place might be a way out of this slavery.

I have a question. If you could go back and do it all again, would you have let the education welfare officer into your home? I have just sent in a letter to the children's school to have them removed from the register. Naturally, I'm a little concerned about contact from Education welfare, legally we have no obligation to let them into our homes, but I don't know, I really don't know.

People who home educate do so for a variety of reasons. The state has a legal duty to YOUR CHILDREN. What you describe as "snooping" may be interpreted as "supporting". I'm sorry for your family's suffering. Thank you for posting this. This happened to my family as a result of the court system (while going through a divorce in 1993). We were forced to go through an 'evaluation' once and then forced again when the first results were not to 'bad' enough to remove my kids from me. The second time I lost 95% custody and was forced to pay $35 an hour to visit my kids with a court monitor 11 per week for more than 1 year. My kids and I were heartbroken
I have only just found out about this and am really disgusted. they are child abducters. They seem not to mind leaving poor little kids at home with torturing murdering parents right, and then lie to cover themselves. The social services are obviously the States lackies

i have been concerned about the schools in the UK well since i was in one of them, call that an education. I had to do it myself after i left. My stepson had his fingerprints taken on his first day at secondary school and my stepdaughter does this thing called circle time where they all chant what's in the circle stays in the circle and discuss problems. This encourages lying to parents. These people did a brave thing in home schooling and we will come together to support them.
You know it has just occurred to me and probably because of Mr Icke - the system or those in power do not want kids who can "think", just dumbed down slaves that can be manipulated at will.
Kids taught at home usually end up doing very well, sometimes going to the best universities. I know people taught at home with above average marks who have been offered interviews and places at the top universities, so I know is true.

There is a group,Education Otherwise - a charity for home eductors, who have group classes and a support system for those of us who opted out of the control system. Look at their webby, not only are you within your legal right to opt out, but personal vendetta's like the one operated by Bishton, are often better dealt with by numbers, and its in their interest to assist.

I home educated my children and was more than happy to show the education peeps my home and the children's work I had nothing to hide. I know I had the legal right to refuse but cooperation is a good thing and I believed I had the shared goal of provision of the best education for my children. I knew what I needed to provide by law, and was providing it so was open and honest.
I think we need to be very careful when hearing a story, there may well be another side we are not hearing.

What gorgeous happy children.. I would have loved to home school my children. I dont like some of the things they learn our kids sex education at 7 yrs how to pleasure yourself ,and religious education any religion mostly muslim apart from their own religiion.They are scared of children learning about the real truths in this world thats what its all about. I am glad you have managed so far to keep your children. But beware: this child kidnapping is happening in other parts of the world too. I am sorry you had to give up your pets. Homeschooling is just an excuse that these psychopaths use for their child trafficking projects. Stay strong, and get as much support as you can. You may also wish to know that David Icke at David Icke dot com does a lot of work in helping to reunite stolen children to their parents.

I support you whole heartedly. I don't have any children but i feel concerned for those who do. Your case is sadly not the only one, as you well know, but the more exposure of the dispicable social services in the UK the more people will wake up to what is going on. i have been concerned about the schools in the UK well since i was in one of them, call that an education. I had to do it myself after i left. My stepson had his fingerprints taken on his first day at secondary school and my stepdaughter does this thing called circle time where they all chant what's in the circle stays in the circle and discuss problems. This encourages lying to parents. These people did a brave thing in home schooling and we will come together to support them.

You know it has just occurred to me and probably because of Mr Icke - the system or those in power do not want kids who can "think", just dumbed down slaves that can be manipulated at will.
Kids taught at home usually end up doing very well, sometimes going to the best universities. I know people taught at home with above average marks who have been offered interviews and places at the top universities, so I know is true.
Is this what the system is scared of ? - People who can "THINK !"

you may have heard this a zillion times - but its more to state awareness of what is known. There is a group,Education Otherwise - a charity for home eductors, who have group classes and a support system for those of us who opted out of the control system. Look at their webby, not only are you within your legal right to opt out, but personal vendetta's like the one operated by Bishton, are often better dealt with by numbers, and its in their interest to assist.

We are home educators. Can tell a story or two ourselves concerning the infamous ss but choose not too. Water under the bridge so to speak. Don't ever sign any documents or agree to anything by signature. If signed it is enforcible by law. Find out all you can about contractual law. Ask them if it is a contract and they will lie to your face and say no.

I home educated my children and was more than happy to show the education peeps my home and the children's work I had nothing to hide. I know I had the legal right to refuse but cooperation is a good thing and I believed I had the shared goal of provision of the best education for my children. I knew what I needed to provide by law, and was providing it so was open and honest.
I think we need to be very careful when hearing a story, there may well be another side we are not hearing.

I'm happy the local police are objective..
My only advice to ye, is do think of contingency plans for all possible event scenarios.
Raising a family is tough enough as it is.
Having said all that, not all SWs are like this.
It's just a rotten minority who employ other's professional obligation to back them up.

:( I feel so terrible for this. I haven't yet got children, but one day hope to HE [should it not be outlawed by then] but am terrified as to what could happen.
For my Nan it was about custody of a child, S: after 5 years of fighting with social services she got custody of S. SS played every dirty trick in the book; expensive court cases; sent cp staff and cops during a hearing to forcibly take the child from the aunt who was babysitting and numerous other stunts.

The problem is that most people dont home educate and basically dont see the abuse of rights from the Govt plans because as always, it's not happening to them. The government divides and conquers and have been for years.

Our Daughter was taken for forced adoption in the UK and we fled to Spain to have our next child born with a chance of freedom and justice! As many people are now aware, Suffolk Social Services sent deliberately false information to the Spanish authorities which resulted in our baby boy being taken here in Spain. Schools in U.K. do little to educate but lots that traumatises and retards the intelligence of children.
