Here we go again! Hamilton not third.Another season of the FIA trying to kill off all interest in F1.

Perhaps they'd like to think up some more ideas like:

1. Take the drivers out of the cars and make them remote control

2. Decide amongst themslves who they think should be the winner before the race even starts.

3. Race the cars themselves, if they can get their fat backsides in the cockpits, and hopefully all take each other out on the first corner.

4. Find another sport to wreck!

well said mate, in my view, hamilton has just been punished for a very poor stewards decision, i no he lied, but at the end of the day he isnt the one who made the decision, if trulli has never punishd in the 1st place, hamilton would of came 4th & got 5 well deserved bonus pionts, but no the stewards love to fiddle about with the results, so lets start, vettel gets 10 place drop for a 50/50 incident, trulli gets moved down to 13th, then lewis gets disqualifyd

First of all, this is not a kinder garden playground where they can make desitions and rules just like that. There is a protocol they have to follow. If it wasn't for that, anybody could do whatever they wanted to. Good for the stewarts and good for the F1. If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

And why did race control ignore requests from Mclaren for clarification of the incident? The Mclaren telemetry showed Hamilton new the rules but his team didnt. Hamilton should have been 3rd, go back to Fuji07 and Massa was given a drive thru for spinning off under waved yellows then re-taking track pos behind safety car, same as Trulli did. Either way, overtaking behind safetycar is illegal. Why didnt the stewards have the telemetry at Melbourne? It suspicious and smacks of a stitch up!

yh, i found it odd that they had no evidence to come to a decision, in every other sport, you have to be 100% certain at these sort of things, anyway, gd decision by the fia not ban him, one of the 1st times common sense has come to the sport, and mclaren have still made more pionts then 1st thought, and wif button doing well, i look forward to what will hopefully be a gd season

Yeah hamilton drove great, but lets be honest he only got 3rd, cause of the others driver's making mistakes by crashing and stuff, and massa having a reliability problem, and vettel and kubica crashing at the end, and trulli making a stupid error, but then again fair dues to hamilton for not crashing and keeping his car in tact.
