  • @takora80s Thanks!

  • Well done

  • @tokmind Thanks!

  • Wrong note at :46 - should be an e# , you played e natural :) . Also, you're playing triplets in the Beethoven-should be a dotted rhythm. :)

  • i like the sound of your viola. how much did u pay for it?

  • gosh! your awesome! this is only my second year playing the viola. i love it!

  • Thank you! Keep at it, it's a fun instrument!! :)

  • woaa!!!!

    UR UR AMAZINGGGG!!!!!!

  • Great job!

  • Your playing is just so beautiful!!

    I like it very much!

Hope can hear your playing again

  • your hands and fingers :)

  • so talented!!!

look forward to the performance at Carnegie Hall and to the documentary harmonyfilm com

  • Very good playing, I like the fact that you put a bit of a performance into it! Make sure that your vibrato isn't used only when convenient, (it tends to be weaker on the 1st finger than on 2nd and 3rd for example).Make sure the piano moment at b. 188 is truly differentiated from the rest of the passage; at the moment it sounds a tad clumsy - maybe try a different bowing? Up on the A and slur all three notes in maybe?

  • how do you play with that bounce without having your bow jump everywhere?

  • I find it helps to try to keep the bow in the string, even though you're going for a spiccato effect. Players sometimes (understandably) assume that because spiccato has a light sound, you should use a very light pressure. But that has the jumpy effect you were talking about, since you end up losing control. If you don't try to deliberately bounce it, and instead just use a nice steady pressure and play really fast, the bow will naturally start to bounce on its own. Does this help?

  • Excellent :)

  • Wow!

  • You're Amazing, Sam!!

  • Very talented.

  • Yay, I love that melody from the 5th symphony! Anyway, you have a great sound, very "crisp" as someone commented. My only criticism would be that the dotted rhythms in the beginning ot the Beethoven should sound a bit more... dotted. But great job! Please post more viola videos =D

  • Omg She is a great example for me!

  • Thank you so much! I am glad you think so highly of my video.

  • beautiful crisp sound!

  • WOW!
