I asked for clarification. What's wrong with that? Why are you so defensive? What did your own family do to end Apartheid? Why did it take South Africa so long to get rid of Apartheid? Geeze, only in the 1990s while the rest of the Western world got rid of most of their segregation polices at the latest in 1970s. Please explain that to me. Why should I NOT cringe whenever I meet a white South African?

The ANC may have engaged in acts of violence because there was no legal avenue for them to air their grievances over and to correct the apartheid injustices perpetuated by the white minority. That violence is no justification, but it does explain why it happened. When you cannot get justice in the legal system (laws, courts, etc.), that's when people riot. And I am grateful that Nelson Mandela preached reconciliation when he became President of South Africa.

@juancarlos772652 As for Apartheid I only moved to South Africa in 1982 from Rhodesia. It took them so long to get rid of Apartheid was due to the ANC and their armed struggle and acts of terrorism on innocent people and oh yes the media over seas told nothing but a pack of lies.

Look at SA now 266 Billion gone missing and no explanation as to where it went look at the infrastructure of SA collapsing and not even maintained by the ANC. There are far more unemployed now that ever before in SA History and lets not forget the large townships
