It seems like he used the corss faders to mix in scratching sometimes......wait...i see, he has a tune with scratching on the track and then scratches over that track!!! Right.....!

He's good, good energy and something interesting to watch. Sometimes though if was listening to trance might just want good mixes and big tunes without all the interruptions.

I'm on great terms with the creative and talented aspect of Eddie's mixing, but personally i think he overdoes the playing around on tracks and he always sustains those builds for too long in my opinion. Also, scratching doesnt well suit the emotive expressions of trance music! it makes me think of when im at home playing around with my gear and it doesnt feel as serious to see live i guess? Props to the talent and innovation however and cheers to the high spirit shown from the crowd! ;)

No, the majority of people know that Eddie doesn't produce, he doesn't plan to, he wants to focus on improving his LIVE remixing skills, which is why he is launching his new concept this Saturday at Tall Trees. If you watch him live in a club like I have many times, you will see that he ejects CDs and places new ones in, impossible for a pre-mixed CD to be playing all the time. He left Radio on a mutual agreement as he couldnt make the journey to London every week, prioritising live events.

Eddie Halliwell is one of the best DJ's round at the moment. By DJ we are talking disk jockey. Meaning he doesn't have to make his own stuff. He plays around with music already available. In terms of him making his own music. He wants to keep it exclusive, he won't release all of his sets because that would just be stupid. Most american's probably wouldn't understand unless they went to see him. No music compares - but obviously that is just my opinion.
