I can't help but feeling this song like a punch in the gut living here a US citizen and all, not sure if that's how it's meant. I d'know, think maybe freedom's catching on in Egypt and Lybia but it's doubtful they'll get it right on first try, freedom is just a work in progress really.

I think it came from respecting how powerless we all are - but also how people can only take so much before they become defiant regardless of the consequences. Mohamed Bouazizi was just a guy selling vegetables - just trying to make ends meet.
