  • This is so awesome. I've been looking for alternate, long-term ways to carry my growing son without so much strain and this method is perfect! But where did you find a wrap that size?? The largest thing I have is a Moby, and mine isn't a forth the size of yours... :-/

  • Hi! I wanted to weigh in and say, yes, Serena was born 12 pounds 13 ounces, completely naturally at Labor of Love. She was also face presentation!

And the other two were also born naturally and were each 12 pounds at birth. :-)

Great video, Diana! Love the videography, especially.

  • I love the wrapping! I am getting my first wrap very soon and I will try this carries, but my baby is 10 months old. May I ask, why you said your baby is 14 lbs?

  • @BenDcida Actually this is a borrowed baby--not my own--and she weighed 14 lbs at the time of the video. I include this info to give viewers an idea of what size baby I'm wrapping as I do videos with all different sized babies and it could be helpful to know how this baby compares to your own.

  • @WrapYourBaby Gotcha! Thank you! But what I meant is how was she weighting 14 lbs at 1 month old of age? I don't mean to be rude just curious. Because I didn't understand what you said after 'she was born a little.....' on 0:25?

Thanks again! I am getting my first wrap this week hopefully!! I only have RS, I am so excited! I have watched almost all your videos to learn! Thanks again!

  • @BenDcida I think she was around 12 lbs at birth (her older brother and sister were both more than 10 lbs too and all delivered without medication at a birth center) and was about 14 lbs at one month. "She was born a little amazon!"

    Have fun and happy wrapping!

  • @WrapYourBaby Oh Wow!! I had mine 9 + lbs baby girl and I was like crazy with the contractions! Actually the pushing and birth part was fine, but I couldn't imagine 12 lbs! God bless that mama!! I am so going to try for a Birth Center, all natural and hopefully in the water. Thanks again for your help mama!

  • Love this! So happy to see instruction on YT. Never mastered the wrap with my first, but I am definitely going to practice and learn with my 2nd. I need those hands free. Thank you for he video.

  • your back-wrapping videos make wrapping a newborn in a back carry look much easier than i imagined it would be! i going to have to try this!
