I wish Rare Ware were noticed for the great games they made.the original donkeykong country was made by Rare and Shiguero Miyamoto criticized it, calling it mediocre(below average) disagreed that Cranky kong was not the original donkey (from the arcade) and didn't put diddy kong in nintendo developed video games until later. After he asked Rare Ware to remake Diddy Kong racing for the DS (originally for the N64 it also was not remade for the wii as its a rival) and agrees later for the above.

how did you open level 7.8? we have the same game and we completed level 7.7 and all the other levels of world 7 but for some reason we cant play level 7.8 cuz it wont turn blue. we dont know why this is, so we cant go further with the game. i hope you can help me. sorry for my bad english, im from holland X

Anyway... just by watching these trailers and all, I can tell the game is going to be good, it's about time we had another DKC Game, really.

I hope the cutscenes are chuckle worthy! A bit like the cutscenes from Smash Bros Brawl! I loved how DK and Diddy interacted in that game, like when they both bang their chests after getting their bananas back, or when they get reunited, slap a high five and do a little dance; that cracked me up!

Looks so awesome. Music is bad though. This isn't Metroid, Retro, It's DK. You gotta switch over to DK style music. This sounds lame and doesn't fit at all.

@WiiFolderJosh DKCR has quite a few tracks which return from the SNES trilogy. Just recycling old music can only get you so far, it'd be nice to have something new too. People didn't moan when DKC1's music wasn't in DKC2, so using that logic, it's slightly unreasonable to expect the same music in DKCR.

Though some of the music in DKCR is a slight disappointment, I agree. Bonus room music is quite a letdown, and I found the minecart music too un-dramatic

@Xtreme7200 It's a different composer too so that's going to make a big difference. But the music was a strong point and really helped define what DKC is in the SNES games. People are going to have to look at DKCR as Retro's take more then a game that stays 100% truly faithful to the SNES games and what Rare created. Judging from the music in this trailer, it already doesn't remind me of DKC.
