  • GET REAL, WE ALL KNOW FIT IS THE SUPERIOR CAR OUT OF THE BUNCH. NO DOUBT!

  • @7:13 GRAN TURISMO 5 MAK JOSS!!

  • Of course they will get better lap numbers with the Fiesta, they used the Fit and Yaris to learn and familiarize the course.

  • The Honda Fit wins in this group hands down!

  • Ford also hires people to comment and rip on the Fit all the Fit videos. Ford should spend more money on producing quality transmissions and testing than slamming other cars. Also, maybe they should make cars in the US instead of Mexico.

  • GO FIT GO~ and LOL and yaris, "its a joke"

  • This review is very timely coz i am actually in the verge of choosing one. This will help me alot. However, i have to wait til the new 2012 Yaris comes out. I hope it's not just a facelift. Thanks guys!

  • I own a cooper... i would like to see a test between the cooper and the Fiesta.

  • 3 years later. Ford... rusted out.

  • @philhoyt This ain't 90's - 00's anymore.

  • @iDiggMGL Oh sorry, 1.5 years.

  • @philhoyt Is that how long it takes for you to catch up to modern times, mentally?

  • @iDiggMGL Get AAA. ;)

  • @philhoyt I don't need it apparently because I've had my Ford Fusion Hybrid for 2 years with no issues at all. If it exceeded your 1.5 years, I think you may be wrong in general.

  • Wait, people are racing sub-compacts! I just bought a yaris and I love it. Why would I care how well my econo-mobile can handle a race track? lol!

  • Ford make dis video..lol

  • jajajajajajajajajaja its so funny that they all agee that the fiesta was the best off couse they were imbited by ford what else are they going to say and also the fiesta was better than the yaris and the fit jaja but americans didnt build it germans did jajaja they can even make cars

  • @agent0295 So, wait, just because it was made out of country, that means something? What country designed the car? Oh, yeah, US did. So, that means that all of the parts chosen to be superior to the other cars were a result of American engineering.

  • The guy at 4:50 was being prompted what to say haha.

  • A nice vid and I wish the Fiesta was sold back when I bought my Fit. I probably would have still gone with the Fit as I like the utility of the magic seats over performance. I think the vehicles are aimed at different demographics with the Fit appealing to those over 30 and the Fiesta going to a younger crowd. As for the Yaris, I have no idea who buys those, I don't ever see them on the road. This test was definitely designed to make the Fiesta look as good as possible, and it worked.

  • fiesta was an european car and it was designed in germany, the mexico plant assembling it for north american market. the automatic model actually use dual clutch transmission which mean there will be no torque converter on it

  • Clearly the Fit and Yaris are better small cars, thats why European streets are lined with both of them...oh wait, its the exact opposite. I forgot.

All you people with hard-ons for Japanese quality cars forget that the Fiesta is designed by Ford Germany, Mexico just assembles it and Ford just happens to be based out of America.; so, in reality, its European. If you even bother to argue that Japanese cars are better quality you're an idiot. Either way, i'd be embarrassed to be seen in a Yaris

  • The Yaris is a joke and the Fit is better? LMAO, sure that's why you don't see any Fits in actual competitions while the Yaris and Fiesta are formidable competitors in Rally events. Btw who the fuck chooses a Yaris with TCS?? TCS is for pussies and obviously hampers lap times, those guy are idiots.

  • I love the new Ford.....and the old. Somewhere in the middle they went wrong, but now they are one of the top best 3 companies in my opinion. BTW, how is the interior room, can a bigger guy be comfortable in one?

  • This video made by Ford. LoL

  • @happyboyy8k No this video is not made by Ford. I made it and I do not work for Ford. I was given the opportunity to test out the car and I drove it around the country with over 65,000 miles I put on their prototype Ford Fiesta. I was never a Ford fan of their new cars only their old cars from the early 70s and earlier. I use to own a 1991 Ford 5.0 Ford Thunderbird and loved it until it failed. After my experience in the new Fiesta I loved it so much I now own my own that I make payments on.

  • Pfft! Toyota kicks Ford (no doubt about that) and Yaris FTW. Yeah, please dont use the Yaris base model vs the Fiesta sport. Compare it with my Yaris S 2011 and then its an even one.

  • Ugh, Fiesta movement= mass brainwashing.

  • Its a stock Yaris vs. a souped up Fiesta. I think the Yaris does very well!! And the Yaris will easily make it passed 250,000 miles, so I choose Toyota!!

  • or its the 2009 model yaris, vs 2011 jazz and fiesta hahahaha

  • please dont use the base model yaris haha

  • they can't say anything bad with the jazz

  • i think the hondo looks the best

  • Mazda is owned by FORD...zo0M zo0M

  • Mazda is owned by FORD...zo0M zo0M

  • They should include and test drove the Mazda 2.. zoOM zoOM

  • These are just ford fans trying to promote ford so bias towards the toyota and honda when both companies produce better cars and will out last ford the long term, and that's not bias that's fact based on history, and people in this class aren't looking for sportiness, there looking for efficiency.

  • @ApplFan1 That is your opinion and that's OK. I was a muscle car Ford Fan and I use to only like Japanese cars for the reason you mentioned. Until I started driving the Ford Fiesta I enjoyed it so much I bought one. I do not work for Ford and I test drove the car around the country putting over 45,000 miles on my many trips. Ford has made major changes to their vehicles for maximum efficiency. Your thinking of the past and Ford is like a new company now. Big changes & improvements. Research....

  • @ApplFan1 and you're just "that guy" who buys jap cars because he is a stuck up turd who is " So ahead of the curb" I hope your yaris pedal sticks asshole, support your own country.. and by the way nice name douche, I see you like to promote your "edge-ness" with your name.. "apple" (notice I have an "E", because I can actually spell) is gay. And I am a firm believer in the fact that the fiesta will out do the other vehicles in the long run. have fun being a douche

  • @ApplFan1 I suggest you check you data. It is considerably out of date.

  • i hate the 49ers

  • Versa is better than both ;) more HP more TQ and if your a thats all that fuckin matters. ( granted it comes standard w ABS and other gadgets :) )

  • This is a clip from the future?!! April 21, 2011.

  • @joeaggas Haha yea I know big mistake. I had been driving the 2011 Ford Fiesta all year long I felt like I was living in the future. I kept dating everything 2011 because I was so use to blogging and tweeting about the 2011 Ford Fiesta so when i did the video 2011 was stuck in my head that I end up noticing it way to late. I thought I was driving a time machine I guess haha.

  • Made by Ford's fans LOL

  • isn't the yaris like 12k and the fiesta like 17k??

  • @5959512 yep and you get what you pay for.

  • @Mooncricket I bought an 08 yaris new and I beat the $hit out of it on a daily basis. It's has 45k miles now and isn't showing any signs of wear. I literally stick the pedal to the floor ever time I get in it. It's a pretty quick car and I can get 42 mpg if I drve normally.

  • @5959512 That's not too impressive since it's only at 45k miles. Get back to us when it goes over 100k.

  • @5959512 at 12k its still overpriced.

  • Yaris is made for small people, un-intuitive console layout, small knobs, poor seat position settings.

  • way to compare apples and oranges. base model hondas and toyotas with no options. up against full load ford with performance tires and a decked out interior including leather. of course everyone will like the fiesta during a 60 second trial

  • @lunmaster1

true...traction control comes standard in Fiesta...need to buy an problem ridden nav in the fit in order to get traction control...yet the guys said it had it sooooo i guess it's not a base model...

  • @vicmackey1268 2011 fit all come standard with VSA now. 2010 was the first year they introduced VSA and it was only on the fits with NAV. In the US they are making it mandatory for VSA on new car.

  • @lunmaster1 I agree 100% Can you say ringers.

  • Feista re badged mazda 2

  • that guy cant drive 7:18

  • Ooh man a chink is behind the fiesta too? no wonder it handles well, like Pacquiao.

  • Come on guys!!! It is a joke! Trying to compare models com 5 years of difference? I like the Fiesta. I went to some Auto Shows and not doubt Yaris and Fit has more internal space. Other pro is: Fiesta, overpriced! Get a Yaris base with more $5,000 you can upgrade teh car putting DVD player, GPS integrated, put some kit, and better tires, etc...

  • It's funny how all you faggots act like you know what you are talking about if you did know what the hell you were talking about than you would know that the fiesta has been around the block for quiet some time now and it has built up great reputation in the UK! Let's not kid our self's all this japshit is a joke bad materials and ergonomics it's not that ford waited it's been done and just been improved. So fucking deal with it. Yaris and fit hahaha what a pair of japboxes. The extremely funn

  • What are these idiots doing testing little cheap 1.3L cars. You wanna be badass you son of a bitch? Test drive a fucking super car.

  • @H4554nX0rZ do u even drive a supper car

  • @bigpapichingon69 I drive a Shelby Aero.

  • WTF. I'm so surprised nobody wrapped their heads around the fact that Ford waited for the competition to be released before they released their offering. How ironic, you already saw what you had to beat so you just took everything that was bad with their already released cars & made yours better; any auto-maker could do that, even Kia. Who honestly believes they all liked that Fiesta ...it sucked & was over priced & equipped. Now Vs. it with the Yaris S & Fit Sport for a more fair comparison.

  • @LR17bro Funny you say that, because ford just brought the car straight from europe exactly the same as it is over there minus the bumpers. Don't you sound like a jackass saying ford had time to make it better than the competition. Incase you don't know european cars are designed to handle better due to road conditions over there.

  • @gearhead2k6 might be 'straight from Europe' but it's built in Mexico and has problems already because of that.

  • @edyken77 Even though Toyota has more recalls than any other Auto manufacturer?

And I honestly like Hyundai better than Toyota. I owned two Lexus's and four Toyota's. My First car was a Ford Taurus that now my kid is driving; but Both of my Lexus's were lemons. My 2008 Corolla JUST broke down Last week when a rod went thought the hood. All but one Toyota that my wife drives was shit and gotten ride of. I sold my 08 corolla to a kid in Collage. While my son Drives my old ass Ford I gave him.

  • @Jakeawake1 You know what you get with every Toyota on top of Toyota care?

You get a car plaged in ugly hard plastic that breaks off when you hit bumps or curbs.

On top of that you get a car that will drive itself into oncoming traffic with you in it.

Plus the reliability of a car that sounds like it runs on rocks for oil.

Oh the great wonders of owning a Death trap or I mean Toyota.

Seriously peeps you'd have to be fucktarded to drive a Toyota.

I prefer my life too much to drive a Toyota.

  • @gearhead2k6 Look dude, you the jackass arguing with me through a computer in the privacy of your home,

& last time I checked Europe didn't give a shit about your safety till' recent years, Japan been doing this shit since forever ...producing safe cars with the most innovative traits ever known in the automotive industry.

The Fiesta is nice & has a great list of standard features, but where will it stand when next generation Fit & Yaris arrive?

  • Hmmm... the one guy not paid seemed to like the Fit the best... interesting.

  • @edyken77 i agree with you! iv seen that guy before in other car review segments, he tales it like it is, he really don't care what you think about his view on a car he is testing. he know the Honda fit is better or the same in the corners,

  • @edyken77 people who like hondas best are usually the ones with no money

  • Toyota Yaris born in 2006

    Honda Fit born in 2008

    Ford Fiesta born in 2011

    -----------------------------

Fiesta is a young girl with technology already develop

Yaris is a old girl, and she's almost the end of her life

just wait and see new yaris modelchange in 2011

  • @kaomoodang Fit/Jazz has been around since 2002.

Fiesta has been around since the 70s I think.

    Yaris is the youngest.

  • This was BS!!! the fiesta their testing has lowpro tires.that makes a large change to the handling of a car,the others have tiny steely's. To get the same kit as in the yaris from the ford you have to spend $5000 more, plus the yaris beats the ford in,resale, life of the car, and the yaris is not MADE IN MEXICO. seems an EZ choice to me

  • @Abiel3000 dude, ever occured to you that the fact the fiesta has low profile tires come included in the package? that being said, when you have to spend 5k on othercars to get the same kind of handling, you are saying: get the fiesta.

  • @Abiel3000 the yaris is crap

  • @Abiel3000 the yARIS IS A HUNK OF CRAP hands down and no it isnt more reliable than the fiesta where the hell are you getting your information ,

  • @Abiel3000 Yeah but the Ford wont try to kill you.

    Toyota=epic fail. NOOB.

  • @Abiel3000 Yeah but the Ford wont try to kill you. The Fiesta has an electronically controlled steering system that's more maneuverable and uses less energy to steer. Better gas mileage and reliability than the Yaris.

and the Yaris doesn't have better resale value. Especially after that BIG ASS RECALL.

Crapyota=epic fail. Toyota sucks NOOB. Plus the Yaris is so GD UGLY!!!

  • Ummm yea, Fit (even the base trim) looks way better. Ford is nice but cramped interior and kind of not quite there with the styling.

  • FORD is better. I wonder about the maintenance tho

  • Honda Fit Sport all the way, both aesthetically & quality-wise.

  • The only concern with this car is that the U.S version will be built in Mexico. The only car that I recall built there was the Chrysler PT cruiser and that turned out well...........

  • @ejuoi not really, all volkswagens in the U.S. are built in Mexico and they are all fine cars...

  • With reliability and cost of operation dominated by Honda, I wonder how good the Fiesta will be in a few years when it's time for poorly made cars to start breaking down.

  • Comment removed

  • The only reason anyone should even buy a yaris is due to price. The fit has a advantage in resale, standard equipment, egronomics, and interior room. The fiesta has about 2-3 mpg advantage over fit, build quality, acceleration and handling (this is probably due to superior standard tires on the fiesta over fit.) Ford has done a good job at staying competitive against japanese counterparts. Glad to see at least 1 american company said "we dont need your stinkin bailout money!"

  • Ford did good, but they were really late to the party on this. and i don't care much for the grill. but the Fit kind of looks like a wedge of cheese. I think the Yaris looks OK, but the interior is horrid, and judging by this video, it didn't do very good.

  • @chinchin94 I agree about Ford being late ...they already had their chance to look over the competition. After their redesigns (Yaris & Fit), then where is Ford going to be by comparison??? Answer that Ford Assholes! Ford has a bad reputation, people say it stands for: F.ound-O.n-R.oad-D.ead.

  • Of course this vid was done by ford so they aren't going to talk about the other pros it's competitors had over it. One being the price. IF you want a decent fiesta it's going to cost you some. The fit Generally holds it's value better than both the yaris and Fiesta mainly because of higher demand, Better reliability, and other factors. I just looked at some pics of the fit and the Yaris is without a doubt the cheapest of the bunch. I don't like it so i guess there are only tow left in the pic

  • well after getting inside the fiestas interior. I've noticed a lot of flaws right off the bat. It did have some type of ergonomic issues and some feeling of cheapness. Then again this isn't uncommon for a type of car in this range. I haven't tested the fit yet but I'm already expecting something far better fit and finish wise. I was extremely impressed with the 8th Gen Civic. The interior was top notch and took it further than most other cars would in that segment. The fit must be the same.

  • What the fuck was that long hair guy kept looking at?

  • Be cynical if ya want @uncoverbrother, but the Ford Fiesta IS the best in my opinion!

  • I like the honda fit, yaris, then fiesta.

  • what kind of glasses at 4:00?

  • @WhipxItxDxR0B

    Cinemax 3D glasses lol

  • that's ken block's gymkhana car

    not rally car

    but awesome video!!!!

    thumbs up!

  • ford was very smart by getting ken block to drive one, it makes the car appeal to younger men which wouldnt normaly like subcompacts.

  • cool

  • Esses caras me convenceram que o Ford Fiesta é definitivamente o melhor!

    Muito bom!!!

  • I like the Fiesta ALOT!! I want to get it for my 1st car when I get some money...maybe in like a year or less from now.

  • What a ride! OF COURSE the Ford Fiesta was the best! :)

  • @maxinefour yea, i'm cynical about this whole setup, myself.

  • nice... seems like the fiesta impressed ;)
