  • How much did u spend in those lenses..? and where can i buy them>?

  • wait why the fuck am i listening to shutter sounds?!

  • Are you shooting a camera or a AK47?

  • è una mitragliatrice ????

  • FAP FAP FAP FAP!

  • Looks like an Auto-Turret :D

  • my dreams

  • that is one PIMPED lens!!!!!

  • nice, but way to loud for my tastes.

  • What? A cannon with no recoil. S-weet!

  • this sound like as motor diesel:)

  • @adik230 muahahahahahahahhah

  • Where you got the tripod with the shutter release?

cause i want to set up for my D90 too :D

  • Honestly did that sound LIKE 12 FPS?? No thats is 5 FPS due to the factor it did not have the Power Grip. Not even the D3s or Canon 1D mark 4 shoot at 12 FPS

  • 12fps?

  • its a mounted mg!

  • i think it'd do you better to have a few more lenses...

  • How I love to see the camera moves sideways with the mount like a real machine gun do in action, LoL!

  • machine gun. wow! no recoil?

  • My dad has this camera with the AF-S VR Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8G lens....I can't tell what lens is on this particular D300, though.

  • @Teraforce88 Oh wait, it's the 500 f/4 (Stupid Youtube not showing the uploader comments). My dad has the TC-14E II teleconverter, too.

  • can a d300 shoot without the lenses attached?

  • @Xyb3rTeCh: So many people ask if a Nikon can shoot without the lens attached. And yes, it can shoot without a lens... But why the hell would you wanna shoot it without a lens? It won't provide any sort of usable photo. Is it just so you can watch the mirror go up and down? Is that a deciding factor in buying a camera? How bored do you have to be to watch the mirror go up and down? It's cool the first time, but after that you should be out taking photos, not watching the mirror.

  • lol. thanks for the info bud. i did actually tested the d3, which can shoot without the lens attached but the d300s and the d700 can't shoot it. i'm just curious to find out if whether there's a setting that could force it to shoot. i know its kinda lame but sometimes i need to check if there's dust on the sensor. you'll see spots easily when the image is all white =)

    but then once again, thanks

  • Rather than taking a photo with out a lens attached, why not just take a photo of a light colored wall, or close up on a piece of paper.

  • Set your aperture to the smallest possible (ƒ/22 or ƒ32) and then shoot a bright, even wall, or the sky. That's the best way to check for dust on the sensor.

And, I reckon the D700 can do it in Manual mode.

  • @Grover717 It's a useful feature if you want to check for dust on the sensor.

  • @Teraforce88 If you want to check for dust on a sensor, there is a nifty little feature called "Mirror Lock-up." The mirror goes up, and stays up, you check for dust, clean if needed, power the camera off and the mirror goes back down.

  • @Grover717 In all honesty... i sometime watch my D3 shooting full speed w/o a lens to see how fast that shutter goes up and down... It gets borring VERY quickly but it still puts a smile on my face :D

  • @quickshooter100 I don't recall dissing anybody. Perhaps you have misinterpreted me knowing what the fuck I'm talking about, and mistaken it for shit talk. It was also very clever of you to assume that I am a "rentboy", which I assume is a name for people who rent gear. There is no shame in renting gear, and if there were a place in my town to do so, I totally would. Either way, I have gear, not a P&S, which doesn't even matter. Photography isn't about the gear, it's about how you use it.

  • @Grover717 the idiot being Xyb3rTech!! not yourself. i should have stated that! apologys.

  • @Grover717 nevermind the dust you let get in there by leaving it open like that *shudder* - pun intended

  • sweet, a bunch of pictures of a leaf.

  • @doddsonsports

    Just leaf him alone :-)

  • Nice 500mm f4 lens! Where's the MB-D10 for the D300?

  • it is the NikonAFSVR500F4+TC17E2.

  • what lens is that? 80-200?
