Contrary to what many may believe (Ike being rigged, cheap, for noobs, KOmaster), his moveset is pretty balanced. His strength outweighs the speed with which he executes his attacks, which is very very slow. Simply put: if you saw it coming, then you should have dodged it because with Ike you can see ALL of his moves coming. Srsly whiners, stop whining.

Maining Ike, he is PLAYABLE! His kill percents are not as low as you believe. A solid forward smash can be as low as 50%, if you can HIT. If you fail, expect to take damage, and you mostly always will, unless they slip up badly, you anticipate aroll, or they trip. Without it, he kills at about 95% with better attacks (BAIR, USMASH, ETC), which isnt much better than other characters. Furthermore, his recovery is shit when somebody can edgehog or gimp well. And poor jump start-up. Sorry :'(
