It looks like the room was formerly a chapel. The cross on the wall and the faux stained glass hasn't been removed. Odd for a hotel in the middle of nowhere ,(or on the island just beyond nowhere), to have a chapel. Even odder for it to be changed into a morally questionable arcade....

Christians in Japan really only come in the "creepier than 700 Club" variety.

@TheGzeus Not at all. Ex-P.M. Taro Aso is Catholic. Tomo, guitar player for bands Majo and The Unique Star, Christian and has crosses on her guitar strap. Hiroko Nakamura of hirokochannel, also Christian. O'course there's plenty of folks who wouldn't recognize a cross if it bit them on the ass, but there's plenty of sincere believers too. Still makes me smile to think a hotel would turn their chapel into a video arcade.
