How come the seating position is so far back in drag cars? Put more weight on the rear wheels?

@420Vali well for one those engines are huge (500-700 cubic inches) and number two would you like to crash doin 260? while sitting like right on the dash? and the seat isnt really moved back maybe 3-7 inches but it looks far back because the steering wheel colum is long so the driver doesnt have to extend there arms or lean foward cuz those guys need to be strapped in rrreeaaallll good
