  • i know Ephram, and i know many of the people where he grew up in the twin valley (rt. 23 between morgantown and New Holland) they tell the story a little different about him.

  • @Gallopone I would like to speak with you.. Please contact me at davidcornman@gmail.com

  • The women in the Amish aren't that good at cutting hair of the boys/men .. It's all messed up like the rats have been eating from their hair

  • Amish Godfather!

  • Where is this all going or leading. At least with the Amish he had a large community and family. It (their life) seems wishy washy now.

  • I grew up Old Order Amish born in Lancaster, PA and grew up in New York State.

  • God wants you to meat him half way and then he will do the rest! He told Adam, man will sweat by his brow all the days of his life!

  • Setting in a home that denies reality, when the visitor knows reality, is like going to a state mental facility and visiting with those who live every day outside of reality. To Amish people, who have an entire community of fantasy land adherents, with enough diversity to survive life, reality is this same unbelievable realm of fantasies. However one lives, it is the mind that questions all and accepts only the irrefutable which finds Truth. Sadly, the Amish settle for far less.

  • I don't blame the Amish for putting Ephraim under the Bann. He is a perfect example of those annoying "radical Christians." There are other ways of professing your faith to others without being so boastful about it which would be considered Pride which is looked down upon especially the Amish. Those mega churches such as the one that sucked these ex Amish in are pathetic too, praying on those vulnerable people with nowhere else to turn once their family and church turn their backs on them.

  • The Amish community is a single cooperative phenomenon. Members are not groomed for problematic dealings with the world. The shift to evangelism is rather sad, as this is just the first step to change that can be irreversible for the Amish way of life. Continuing change will be inevitable, the achilles heel that is now exposed to the nearby born again bringing down the unique culture into a different sleep - but no their own Schlof, Bubeli Schlof.

  • in the al-Quran- Allah too said He created Heaven and earth for 6 days...which almost similar to what Ephraim said in the old bible.. That's show's how Islam linked to the old Christianity..Jesus has send the same message that Muhammad had. This prove that Muhammad and Jesus are both prophets whose sending the same revelation from Allah. Sadly, new bible has been changed on purpose..which leave al-Quran as the solid truth that there's no God but Allah. :)

  • he looks thinner than the last film..

  • When Ephraim shunned his friend Jessie for not standing up in the face of his family and church, he was not better than the church that shunned him.

  • I don't mean to be judgmental, but I feel these people are very gullible. Anyone with a new and awesome religion comes down the street preaching the gospel and these guys follow them like fish on bait. I believe in the freedom of choice and everyone makes their own decisions, but how can you follow a religion and "hate" on other religions when you don't know anything about them. Besides that, thanks for the upload. Interesting stuff.

  • The elders are repeating what their ancestors fled Europe for. The elders are being dictators not leaders.

  • Does the documentary ever say what happened to Ephraim's daughter, Marie? In the first documentary, she was diagnosed with Leukemia, and was responding well to treatments. Anyone know how she's doing now?

  • @jepenner Marie went into complete remission and is doing great!

  • @jepenner skip to 39:00

  • To be quiet honest I like the "normal" Amish more.
