I doubt there has been much if any mention of the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline project in US (or western) mainstream media so-called "news". There are still two key BBC site pages regarding this. One is dated August 22, 1998 with the headline "World: South Asia Trans-Afghan pipeline suspended" : The other is 27 December, 2002 as "Central Asia pipeline deal signed. Helen was right about Iraq, right about Afghanistan and right about Israel, massive credit to a journalist who is a true asset to her profession and actually says what she thinks, many British journalists could learn some things from her.

Actually, the 9/11 hijackers made their plans in Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, the USA, and several other countries. Most of them were Saudis, none of them were Afghans.

Wait, what was the problem with his answer again? I'd rather have the US spend a year attempting to secure Aghanistan rather than have it turn back into a shithole as usual. If I were helen thomas I would utterly destroy obama on his point where he said taliban harbored al qaida cause thats not true. taliban did want to give up al qaida before the war. Initially they asked for evidence which we couldnt provide but when they saw us coming they pleaded us not to and promised OBL but we just went with the war.
IF u dont believe me that we don't have evidence go to the FBI website and u would see OBL is not wanted for 9/11 but for embassy bombings
