  • good video .

  • Interesting vid, keep it up!...oh in regards to ALL British overseas dependancies/territories, no matter ones personnal view their inhabitants have overwelmingly supported to idea of continued British rule, and under UN charter that it is therefore legally recognised.

  • @Whitedove89 Thanks. But it's not 'legally recognised' because of the UN Charter, but because the people in those overseas territories have the right to self-determination (and because, ultimately, Britain and France have the means to defend them).

  • @EuropeanGeostrategy As long as UK does "represent" those people (AKA they are given equal rights as all the citizens of UK), they have no right to secede from UK, no matter how much they want it, per international law (Thats why Basques cant secede from Spain for example).

  • SRNutritivo !

Its stolen and by the way its UK soil!

  • Excellent video

  • @redxenos Thank you.

  • Gibraltar overseas? Gibraltar is a bit of Spain stealed by pirates....

  • @SrNutritivo Let's not be silly. Britain and Spain are allies in the European Union.

  • @SrNutritivo Olivenza is a bit of Portugal taken by pirates.... Melina and Ceuta is a bit of Marroco taken by pirates as well....

  • @82dneves No, these are both sovereign Portuguese and Spanish territories...

  • @SrNutritivo what about Olivanza, Ceuta and Melina?

  • @82dneves Yes, they are overseas territories of the European Union's Member States (Portugal and Spain), but they do not contain strategic military stations, hence they are not included in this video!

  • I have to say, you're one of my favourite voices when it comes to how the EU should develop. I'm currently doing an MA in International Politics and Europe - and compared to gloominess and neigh-saying of most thinkers on the subject, your approach is refreshing. I particularly like that you maintain a distinctly British view of how power should be projected, that is all too often drowned out. Keep up the good work!

  • @RajahBrooke Thank you for your support!

  • @EuropeanGeostrategy

Can i ask you which Software you used to make this video? It's really good.

On the EU: the EU is the most exciting political project in the history of the world, i support it 100%! (even though the current gigantic mess).

  • @tjobv We used iMovie, an application which comes free with every Mac! I think you can download it too from the App Store if you have a Mac.
