Zeppelin and the Beatles were not really innovators, they were pretty conventional rock bands. Bjork and Mike Patton are really pushing the boundaries, you can't pin them to any category, that is what makes them great. They're true artists, constantly changing and moving forwards. sorry, but when i said bjork and patton should collaborate (to rahzell) i meant a full two-way collaboration, not just an invisible cameo on HER record. oh well, its still a nice gesture on bjorks part. I love them all. I think Enya and Patton are up for a collab. I hope Enya would seriously consider such a move. certainly would be WAAAY more tasteful than say, DuranDuran and Timberlakeland.

Mike Patton's contributions to Medulla help give the album it's elements and atmosphere. I would say that he had more than an invisible cameo. I'm also glad that he is content with playing in the background every now and then, rather than trying to steal the show all the time.

But yeah, it would be awesome if he could do a collab project with Bjork. I'd definitely get a record of that.
