Pop singers who sing classical and opera material are of a different genre than opera singers who sing roles in complete operas in opera houses. Please keep the genres separate. I'm struck in this video by how alone and vulnerable she seems: motionless & alone on the stage. We know she can "bop" around to lighter pieces, so her stage presence in this piece is not from wandering up & down "working" the audience, but by conveying her inner sense of stillness and forcing our focus on the song and the instrument of her voice - our whole attention is therefore held as if the she is personally & individually singing to us - its such an extraordinary technique she has.
