I took the guts outta that & put it in a 45 cabinet (the 46W Amp & The Jensen F15LL Field-Coil Woofer)... I just liked the sound of it better in the smaller cab...
(CONTINUED)... The distortion is a combination of A. Me turning up the preamp gain knob inside the organ on the preamp volume box, B. Leslie amp@ max volume, C. less-than perfect horn driver & D. One of the 2 5U4 rectifier tubes that was dead... I actually was frustrated with the sound of it because it was just a little TOO much distortion @ all volume levels n I couldn't get a "clean" sound when I wanted, but it definitely had bite like that LOLOL still does, I just replaced the tube since then
WOW!!!! Moved to tears on that one! You just get enough of a grindy edge w/ rock-like distortion combined with gospel talent, that I just had to stop and take notice.

Thanks homie!!!! Its not in the shot, but the organ is actually playin thru a model 45 Leslie modified with a 31W amp w/ the field coil woofer (has deeper bass to me than the regular non-field coil woofer). As for the 46W Leslie u can actually see in the shot, no amp was in it at the time and it wasn't hooked up. Thats been confusing a few ppl lol

Thanks alot 4 tha love man!! Naw I was usin another one to the right of that (u can't see it as its out of the frame). The one in the shot wasn't hooked up at the time (all the guts were taken out aside from the upper driver & the horns). FYI- thats a Leslie model 46W in the shot & the one I was playin thru was a "hybrid" (Leslie 45 cabinet with a Leslie 46W amp & Jensen F15LL woofer). CRAZY bass from the smaller cab w/ that setup and the mids don't get swallowed up. Cant wait 2 hear u play!

Thanks homie!!!! Its not in the shot, but the organ is actually playin thru a model 45 Leslie modified with a 31W amp w/ the field coil woofer (has deeper bass to me than the regular non-field coil woofer). As for the 46W Leslie u can actually see in the shot, no amp was in it at the time and it wasn't hooked up. Thats been confusing a few ppl lol

Thanks alot 4 tha love man!! Naw I was usin another one to the right of that (u can't see it as its out of the frame). The one in the shot wasn't hooked up at the time (all the guts were taken out aside from the upper driver & the horns). FYI- thats a Leslie model 46W in the shot & the one I was playin thru was a "hybrid" (Leslie 45 cabinet with a Leslie 46W amp & Jensen F15LL woofer). CRAZY bass from the smaller cab w/ that setup and the mids don't get swallowed up. Cant wait 2 hear u play!

OOOOOH, I believe it!!!! LOL Shoot, if u comin from tha NY, y'all got shouts all DAY!!!! I've heard some of tha CRAZIEST shouts from there lol. Um...just an interjection...the expression "G-d" is taken from a belief system that says that the name of God is too holy to write, particularly if the writing of the name can in any way be destroyed. Same as the use of YHWH in OT doctrine. I think it's Jewish, but I'd rather not be wrong about it.
