When you fill out an application for a job in a union shop, that is a voluntary act. Youi know, or should know if you did your homework, that it is a union shop. Nobody forces you to work there. You could go, instead for one of those great non-union jobs in Mallwort or any of those other kind and generous corporate employers.

I am in the sheet metal workers. Best move I ever made I work m butt off and I EARN a good wage. I would put my skills that I have recieved since entering the union up aganst ant non union person and win hands down. So uneducated I don't think so. I never recieved free training when I worked non-union. Wake up people RTW=Big Business. Unite, organize and stand up for workers rights. Together when can make a differance. I'm in a union, four year degree from U of I in International Business and Economics, Christian, loving person. Why are Unions at their lowest numbers? Outsourcing of union and non union jobs, NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA, Greedy CEOs and shareholders. Why are people making less, higher gas, terrible housing market, electrical cost, weak dollar, I suppose these are all Unions fault too.
