  • It seems case of Dave Byron was similar than Freddy Mercoury or Jim Morrison e.t.c... The bands can't to make really great music without them.

  • In the mid-seventies this was the first song I've ever heard of Uriah Heep. At instant I became a fan and bought all their records. But unfortunately after David Byron left they started to make bullshit music and I forgot about them.

  • The two that dislike sure have serious problems; hearing problems or taste ones... there's no other explination...

  • Ken and his mini moog

  • Wow! Memories of my lost teen years. Thank You for bringing me back. Had this album along with so many other great 70's music. This one along with Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" (75 also) put me in another dimension that was hard to return from. Thanks to the the Heep for the "Fantasy trip".

  • Byron!!!

  • It now seriously seems like return to fantasy.....amazing all time great. god bless the uploader.

  • being an ardent fan of David Byron, i love his song ""scared", which he recorded with his band, "ROUGH DIAMOND", can't get enough of this song, his version of , lock and Key, is bloody good aswell.

  • In my humble opinion, this is the best band....ever.

  • superb! a true classic

  • if i could return to that fantasy of 70-s!

  • F*cking Masterpiece

  • there is no words to describe Byrons talent in singing.

lEE gARY dAVID kEN and the magic man. all stars

  • My favorite Uriah Heep song.

  • they don't make songs like this anymore

  • One of my favorite bands of all time. The Heep is the very best English metal band ever. They don't just turn up the volume and try to over power you with noise like most metal bands. These guys can write and play strong powerful music that stands on it's own merit. R.I.P. Dave and Gary.

  • guh. What an awesome song!

  • Wenigstens ein Lied, wo der YoutubeHater nicht da war !!

    Live Uriah Heep Hammer *___*

  • Bought this album in the 70s, still play it now. It never got put under the stairs with the advent of CDs like most of my vinyl. This and A Year Or A Day are the stand-out tracks, infact in my very eavy, very umble opinion A Year Or A Day is their finest ever song. See Kostantinos Takos' Heep archive for my pics of Heep at The Bham Odeon in Feb 77

  • my biggest fantasy is that i could have lived in 70s...music is not like this anymore!!!!

  • last of the truly "old school" HM,and the intro is like time travel - I have the original album (and many other orig. Heeps) and feel that the studio version is better for the psychedelic effects - though,of course, they always put on great live shows as well.

  • Otima banda, meu pai que me mostrou o vinyl de Demon and Wizzards e agora ja fiquei viciado no som deles =D

  • BEST of THE BEST

  • simply beautiful...

  • LOVE the castle pics!!!! Want them!!!

  • Best of all !!!

  • Brilliant.

  • Classic fantasy! Powerrful song. I love the keys ( organ attacks , moog synth) and immortal vocal work

  • The Heep is simply the best metal band ever. Very underated, but just excellent. All of their songs and albums are first rate, I have them all.R.I.P Thain and Byron.

  • good memories from my youth

  • he died in 1985. RIP.

  • wow this song reminds me of many moons ago at carlos night club colne thursday night rock night. one of my favourites also reminds me of my soul bro who has since passed over, smithy

  • R.I.P. Lord Byron

  • Best song from the Heep - almost symphonical, I put it on the same level as Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody!

  • Moog, vocoder, effects and wierd backing vocals make yet another masterpiece of the golden 1970-1978 period.

  • incrivel como essa banda e excelente!

  • @FilaBoia1 Pena que seja praticamente desconhecida no Brasil.

  • @ToraAkaChan I also came looking for this version because of the Gamma Ray cover.

This version surprised me, and was better than expected(although I think I still prefer Gamma Ray).

  • @mkicon Yeah, the same happened to me! and I agree with your opinion 100 per cent!!

  • This intro is in my humble opinion a really epic one!

  • juste pour mon frére

  • isto é rock de primeira, 35 anos de vida e super atual. valmir o marvel

  • echt sjieke plaat!!!!! dank je dat ik m nog kan horen op internet
