You DO NOT want to go to TUJ if you're trying to get an education. The calculus teacher can't even subtract 3 from 11 in his head. What kind of bullshit is that? Seriously. How the fuck am I suppose to learn calculus from this idiot?
@kayallhood Many older Japanese establishments and houses have squatting toilets, so we distinguish them by calling them "western style" toilets, as in ones you can sit down on, as that's a western custom.
@hellokittypink091 so am i hopefully i havent decided exactly what though im still picking im more worded how im gonna pay for it i so far have add it upa nd iteell be around 13,000 ollars for the dorm and full tiem criedent and the fee to be a student not including a phoenor anything.
I stayed here last Summer when I did a study abroad program at TUJ. This place is mad cool. Had mad fun there. I wish I could go back with all the friends I made there. Aki-san is the man!
Grats to everyone heading out this fall. I'm aim'ng for next summer... I hope, we'll see.
Thanks for the video, exactly what I was looking for. Since I'm a packrat I have waaaaaay too much stuff, so I just needed to know how big the rooms where so I could plan ahead. Not too shabby, better than some barracks I stayed in when I was in the military. Soooooo glad internet's taken care of with, fridge too.
oh man, duuuuuude!! thanks a million man....I'm really thinking of attending Fall of 08 and I want to see how it is before I choose where to live.....anyway, thanks a lot man, really, haha
What is this nonsense...lol. Weight room in the middel of the entrance?? Hmmmm Where's the chu-his', the drunken parties, Club 113.. tsk tsk people you're in Japan...live it up
Awesome dude! I'm leaving for Japan to go to TUJ this January, leaving on the fifth and arriving on the sixth. It's nice to have a better idea of what to expect. I'm sure I'll have enough surprises!
Hey, I was wondering if you could give me advice on the weather. I'm going to TUJ for spring semester and I have no idea how cold it should be/what i should pack for. I live in Boston now and its always freezing here... any suggestions?
Mm, I've heard January and February are the coldest months of Japan .. I have no idea how cold it is in Boston though ^^. To tell you the truth, I just moved here Fall semester of 07. Hope that helps some~
omg thanks so much! I just got off the phone with the admissions counselor like...2 hours ago! now i have a general feel of what the dorms are like! Can't wait to apply/get accepted :D
Thanks for posting this video! I'm going to TUJ starting in January, and right now I'm picking which dorm I want to live in, so I've been really curious as to what they look like inside. (I really want to have a roomate so I hope to get into TUJ House, but who knows what will happen.)
I was thinking about going to TUJ aswell for a semester. Are all the dorms like that or can you get like twin-share rooms that have their own kitchen and stuff?
Also are there mainly only American students that go there?
It is possible to get your own kitchen and stuff but very difficult in Ontakesan. I believe Leopalace gives you your own. and I'm not sure about other TUJ houses.
and, Yeah I'd say it's about 50% Japanese and 50% foreigners half of the foreigners being American. (thats my guess though) ;0)
I know the trick to the coke thing. The bigger one is less because you probably won't finish it (found out on the internet). Anyways, cool vid. THANX!
Yeah, TUJ is real expensive. It's maybe $30,000-$35,000 a year (including living expenses). A lot of transfers say that TUJ is real easy. I'm here for the Japanese though, so I'm having fun. =]
I'm using a Stafford Loan. Keep in mind this is still an American school and the main campus is in Philadelphia. Honestly, This is my first semester so my dad helped me with my first loan, I'm not sure whether he listed TUJ or just used the main campus when applying for my loan.. but yeah.. It is possible. =]. (i'm from states)
