The IPCC relays on 1300 years of plant and fossil data (read chap 9 of 4th report) that shows a flat temp the last 1300 years with a spike at the end claiming no outside forces (solar or volcanoes) could have caused this drastic rise so it must be man. However they ignore ice core data in particular GISP and Vostok that accurately shows temp records
