  • Thanks for these videos. Your videos helped me greatly when I converted my Saiga 12.

  • I'm quite excited to follow up with your tutorial. This was very helpful, thanks!

  • I can't wait to get my Saiga

  • you forget to take that last screw out?

  • Great video - I just picked up a stock S12 for $720 ( best price I could find locally in Denver and it was tough to find - most shops are sold out) did the bolt / rail polish, figuring out my conversions next

  • Very informative.

  • how many cost new saiga 12

  • @lepricoun really your grammar is horrid. i don't think you should be allowed to own a firearm.

  • Silly Q what screwdriver set is that

  • i could never turst a weapon if i took it apart and put it back to gether

  • @MrBurnTec -............Really?

  • @CplPrimeaux no i dunno why just something i dont do

  • @MrBurnTec- YOu have to strip em down to clean them... unless you half ass it. It really isnt that hard . I am sure you could do it just fine. Take the initiative and get in there and if you are unsure about something you could find a field strip video on youtube for most firearms.

  • @CplPrimeaux i live in britain its nearly impossible to own a gun :(

  • @CplPrimeaux you have to be 18 to own a bb gun and 21 to own an air rifle stupid isnt it but who goes against the rules ;)

  • @MrBurnTec - Oh Britain ... Yeah sorry to hear that man. If you ever see Rebecca Peters tell her she is a POS for me . Thanks.

  • @MrBurnTec - Yea its stupid. You wonder, why is a government scared of its citizens? They must not be doing something right, therefore they dont want their citizens to stop them so they disarm you. Thats how I look at it. I think EVERYONE should be armed, if that were the case we would eventually weed out the criminals.A government who wants its citizens disarmed must be a corrupt one

  • @CplPrimeaux thats exacly right everyone should be armed with a weapon

the british government is stupid and it never goes right

  • Ray is an excellent, gunsmith and performs all of the gunsmithing on my tools and also built my Saiga. He was building these long before it was fashionable. I am sure there are a lot of great gunsmiths out there but he is the only one I trust my tools to!

  • That is the easiest way I've seen somebody remove those riveted pins.

  • What brand of vise is he using?

  • Great vids. I just converted mines the other day. But saw somethings in your videos that could have made it a little easier. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for the video!

It helped me build my saiga 12

Check out my video of my tricked out S12 my channel is gunsandsouthernpride

  • Awesome videos thank you.

Like to ask about the tapco t6 stocks for the S12s are those a bolt on stock or do i need to do all this custom work?

  • WOW ! is the same parts as the AK-47.....

  • what are things too look for or know about before buying one online i know nothing about shot guns good video tho

  • A combat shotgun is better in close quarters than a basic shotgun, shorter length. Also you can add flashlight, holographic sight, Door buster attachments and so on.

  • Good job, he is easy to understand and explains every step well, thanks I learned a lot about my Saiga 12.

  • What's the advantage to having a "tactical combat shotgun?"

  • Great video! I just finished my Saiga 12. I did mostly the same procedure; except once I had the rear trigger guard rivet gridded down (used dremel) I used a crescent wrench and turned the trigger guard while it was still on the rifle. It worked just like when you used the vice. That exposed the forward rivet and I dremel it. Thanks again!

BTW, what kind of paint are you using? I need to fix the paint on mine.

  • where the fuck did the favorite button go!?!?

  • @vampire847 its the add to button now

  • I love what you're doing...I have a finicky Saiga12 myself, so I'm hoping to learn a few things.

As an aside, whenever you're working on items under spring tension (or hammering), you should wear eye protection - I see you rememberd it when you did the vice work, but not during the original disassembly. I don't want you to change your YouTube name to OneEyedIraqVeteran8888 :-)

  • Great tutorial video, shooter. Recently I did a similar one on RELOADING .223. (Type in: RELOADING .223 (1 of 13)). Once again, great job!

  • I would give almost anything to take my Saiga to your workbench so you could teach me what you know, I do plan on getting my AS in Gunsmithing out in Cali. Consequently the state with the worst ownership regulations and infriengements on freedoms has the college with the BEST curriculum out of the 4 NRA sponsored colleges. Great vids!

  • ★★★★★ツ

  • thats a nice shotgun i want one

  • Great videos, but you (we) really need better lighting!! Always have a good light source BEHIND the camera when filming anything in detail. From my view, most of your details are unfortunately in darkness.

  • @StevenMartin1966 Check your monitor's brightness settings. Looks crystal clear on mine...

  • @Iraqveteran8888 My monitor is plenty bright. I was referring to seeing details of your work, not overall lighting. Your overall lighting is great, but unless you hold a piece up to the camera, the details and innards of your work are dark and shadowy. Inadequate lighting is very common, and unfortunate for the time it takes to make videos and get them uploaded. I'm just trying to give feedback to help make future videos that much better. Great videos, great information, thank you!

  • @StevenMartin1966 Noted...Bear in mind also that this video is being recorded on company time by a professional gunsmith complete free of charge to the consumer...I helped him film a few parts where close up shots were very necessary, but I will take the constructive criticism for what it is and next time we will get closer shots.

  • 3 words, Magnetic parts trays.

    Worth their weight in gold...

  • @Whitehorze Yes they are rather handy.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 Do you do conversions on Saiga rifles? If so, how much will it cost me?

  • @Gildog77 Basic conversion starts at $799

  • @Iraqveteran8888 799, is that price just for the work?

  • @Iraqveteran8888 a saiga full atuo is illegal? Or can it be done?

  • @Iraqveteran8888 for a converted gun or the cost of the conversion is $799

  • @Iraqveteran8888 $799? I hope you mean for a converted rifle!

  • @Gildog77 stop pronouncing it SEGA. its SA I GA. get the fucking name right, god damn it.

  • @mfgunit Why are you directing your comment to me? How do you know how I pronounce it?

  • "does not matter which one goes in which hole" thats what she said lol thanks for the vids eric converted saiga is only saiga

  • @hangemhigh2000 Not a problem as long as you aren't trying to convert it to accept NFA parts.
