I have some questions I have some old scanners can I use them as an outlet for the APRS to receive. Second is there anything I can do with old motorolas come 2013 alot of them will show up very cheep is there anything that can be done. The problem I see is that the pack id caal sign is keeped in the ham radio itself the commercial does not have that option. And is APRS only in 2 meters? What are the standard frequencies for APRS in ham radio? Do you have a link for the software?
I am having a hard time getting excited about aprs, again, was all into it a few years ago, well somewhat into it. Now it seems I can't find where to download UI-view or any other way to view aprs stations on my pc. Making me feel pretty dumb, lol.
Jerry, thanks for the very nice words! I just stumbled upon this video and as soon as you held the OT1+ up, I recognized our tracker cabled connected to it.
