The Dance is also awesome but not very hard really, depends how good a dancer you are and how you can move your body haha, but yeah, I tried it last night while playing this song and I can kind of do it, and that was first try. Seen the stage show twice; bought 2 VHS tapes(!); got given the a0 size stage poster. Oh & Rae Von is my real name. Guess you could say Im a fan of Buddy's music! Its a shame his guitar string broke (thats why it was muted soon after the intro/distortion). Playing live; singing & acting simultaneously...sure ain't easy! Thanq Marideputti

This is from the musical The Buddy Holly Story. But color broadcast did begin in the US in 1954 however, most people did not own color TVs.

Super song and superb playing. The dance in the middle takes some doing whilst still playing the guitar. Don't think so?, then try it. What does he fish out of the strings of his guitar and chuck away?
The girls in the chorus are stunning.
Don't forget that this music is fifty years old (half a century) and performers today are still using Fender guitars etc. Unfortunately, most of the "Pop" music today is crap, that is why we are still listening to the likes of Buddy Holly and Co.

I agree with the superb playing! The Dance is also awesome but not very hard really, depends how good a dancer you are and how you can move your body haha, but yeah, I tried it last night while playing this song and I can kind of do it, and that was first try. Modern music does suck, the 50's. 60's and 70's were by far the best 30 years of music.

It does however indicate the level of talent that this performer has, bearing in mind the rigorous auditions that he would have had to go through to actually land the part of this "Icon" of Rock on the West End Stage. Doesn't this song give you shivers of ecstacy though? BRILLIANT.( By the way, the girls in the chorus give me shivers too.)
