Arnold Rothstien played a very smart move. In order for the D'Alessio brothers to do business with him he made all of them sign life insurance policys (with his own insurance company). So even if Nucky's hitmen murder the brothers AR gets paid either way. So AR will actually recoup (or even profit) some of the $1million he's about to pay nucky. One slick mofo

The Gennas were allies of Al Capone in Chicago and when Al left at one point in time, they started acting like they were the heads of The Outift, Capone held a dinner in their honor and afterwards they were beaten to death with baseball bats. The Gennas had absolutely nothing to do with Maranzano or New York. Lucky didn't go after Maranzano to avenge Rothstein. He went after him because he was standing in his way from total control.

Yeah Torrio had him killed because of his lack of desire to get into the liquor business. The shooter was Frankie Yale just like Lucky said and Arnold Rothstein questioned him earlier in the season to confirm it was Johnny Torrio. It was never shown on screen him admitting it but it's common knowledge.
