I also have this gun. Reno is correct, 80fpe out of the box is normal. I actually own this rifle and it is used to hunt beaver at a second home. 950fps with a .43gr pellet at 10 feet from the muzzle is nothing to snicker at. All that for 450 bucks brand new. And mine isn't the carbine, it's the full length barrel one.

if you're shooting a 25 cal sumatra 2500 500CC,
you can boost it's power to 103 FPE at 3000 PSI
fill pressure if you use 60-62 gr. ammo.
Can't find 60 Gr. ammo?
Crazy glue 2 pellets together or glue a #3 (25 cal)
buckshot pellet to the back.
Takes only 5 secs each and the results will
blow you away so to speak - (pun intended).
