@runhorun hahaha I've gotten these parts from all over the place. Theres not that much available for my car, body kit was about all. A lot of this is completely custom to my car, and actually the side skirts and back bumper are made for a 96-99, so I had to cut, and fiberglass and mod them to fit my car. turned out pretty nice I think. And i have not done body work on someone elses car because one project can easily take me over a month because I take my time and im doin it myself lol
@AnthonyMostacci22 Yes the Type R's POUND, and this box is tuned perfectly for them. they hit the lows well and are all around great subs. i am still using the stock alternator, however without a capacitor of some kind your lights will dim a lot. even a little .5 farad cap will help, but i would get at least 1.0 or higher if your amp is any bigger than mine

I also have an SL2. And I hate to tell you, dude, but pimping a Saturn is like gold-plating a salt shaker. The things were made to be practical, not cool. You're stupid for wasting that cash.
Anyway, the best Saturns are the sleepers... the early 90s ones that people basically completely rebuilt to be 500+ hp monsters with a exterior that looks like a grocery-getter. lols when people in Camaros try to race those.
@d00msday195 headlights and tail lights are all stock with custom work done to them. painted the inside of the headlights, and tinted the tail lights!
@d00msday195 painted. I used regular gloss black spray paint with some clear overtop. I painted the top bottom, and sides that do not reflect the majority of the light. lights have a very nice cut-off instead of spreading the light everywhere. i can send you more pix if you want a better idea of how/where to paint. very easy with this car!

@gaspircessuck I had the turned backwards but the trunk rattles wayyyy too much. i have since turned them back around but its very picky as to how badly the trunk rattles. I've tried dynamat with no luck, if you have any other suggestions hit me with em cuz i've been tryin to get rid of this rattle forever!

@courtlife24 well you won't get rid of the full rattle, those cars are small and will rattle no matter what, you can google different sound deadening crap, and try car audio dot com, make account and post on the forum, asking them what would help.

@MATTHEWbeingMATTHEW i've spent right at about 1k including the rims & tires, body kit, spoiler, head unit, subwoofers, amp, and box, and everything else you see.
the car itself i got used with 43k on it for about 2k. so all in all before paint im at a little over 3k
@kartdriver16 yah the part i painted silver is all just clipped in all the way around, if you start from the very bottom and just pull it will come off pretty easy. then i just sanded it down, sprayed it silver and gave it a clear coat
@kartdriver16 yah theres i think 2 bolts under the hood holding the headlight in, take those out, and take the three bulbs out, then you can either heat up the glue thats holding the lens to the housing or you can cut it, but someway take care of the glue thats all the way around, separate the 2 and then mask and paint your headlights!
@Birdmanjj9 The head-unit i have has an audio video input, I have a power inverter hooked straight up to the battery that i run all my electronics off of, so the tv's and the PS2 get their power through that, and then the head unit has audio video inputs that i just run from the PS2. nothin too bigg...its a pretty simple setup.
@fryintoad416 yah its not quite as loud as facing them back, unless you open the trunk then its louder than anything. but i dont even think its the plastic thing so much, cause i had that off to put sealant and stuff behind it but the trunk without that still made a bunch of noise. but you do what you have to

@YaGurlStorm314 i think it was. it hasnt given me any problems besides me losing the back of the remote...haha. its got a few stupid things about it that i dont like, but can live with for the price: no clock, no shuffle (on cd/dvd, sd card, or ipod) u cant change the background. but A/V input is awesome! get the ipod audio video cable and i think you'll be very happy with it. i like it a lot for the price and being a touchscreen and stuff you can see a list of songs instead of 1
