Well, Science at this juncture cannot explain what came before the Big Bang although they have theories and are updating all the time. They have no evidential theory of a First Cause which began the process of worlds, galaxies, and our consciousness. I consider the Big Bang theorists as pseudo science for that reason. @N1k1mon The entire Bible is a book of history also of prophecies which would be more interesting to prove which one's did not occur. But instead the parallels are usually undertaken. Even Jesus prophecies are so numerous that it proves He is the one spoken of. In Daniel the 5 future world empires were predicted so specifically including time of reign, in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar. Jesus made numerous prophecies including the one you ask about in Matthew 24 of which some came true in 70 A.D.

You have to read it carefully but it was a chronology.When you couple the prophecies in Daniel and Revelations you can see that it could not have elapsed by 70 A.D. so we know that it is talking about the times today. Remember Daniel prophesied 5 empires even before Jesus was born.

It takes a long time to get to the level of Daniel Pinchbeck, J Major Jenkins and Jose Arguelles, you can't expect to be as far along as those guys in just a couple years. @N1k1mon The entire Bible is a book of history also of prophecies which would be more interesting to prove which one's did not occur. But instead the parallels are usually undertaken. Even Jesus prophecies are so numerous that it proves He is the one spoken of. In Daniel the 5 future world empires were predicted so specifically including time of reign, in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar. Jesus made numerous prophecies including the one you ask about in Matthew 24 of which some came true in 70 A.D.

@sarxpoker The part of Luke you are talking about was about 70 Ad when Titus invaded Jerusalem. He said this would mark the times of the Gentiles. Then He moved on to the end time prophecy. You have to read it carefully but it was a chronology.When you couple the prophecies in Daniel and Revelations you can see that it could not have elapsed by 70 A.D. so we know that it is talking about the times today. Remember Daniel prophesied 5 empires even before Jesus was born.

So far every parallel I have looked into has already been studied and abandoned by comparative religious scholars over 100 years ago. The parallels are spurious at best. And none of these myths have ever been found in 1st century Palestine by any archeologist. Most have been revived by You Tube such as Zeitgeist and when people such as Archaya S. were pressed for sources, were easily debunked by religious scholars. Not even Atheist scholars such as Dr.Bob Price accept these vague parallels.

The reason there are similarities in beliefs is because they are propagated by the same enteties. The one belief that isn't invited is Christianity, which did predict it occurring. The great awakening in the Bible is called the "Great Deception"which will deceive the very elect. There are over 2,000 prophecies more specific than any other belief that exists. Some have occurred this past 100 years and some are to come.

I heard that in 2012, planet positions, especially Uranus-Pluto, will be similar to the late 60s and the French Revolution. You make a good point man, I think this evolution of higher consciousness has alot to do with God spirituality and ChristConsciousness one man named Meher Baba who was an enlightened master maid a vow of silence in the 50s before he died in 1963 he wrote down that his voice would be heard again when the awakening happens. Other gurus call this the new internal Christ or enlightened one with in us. I think something is going to happen and hopefuly it is an awakening.

2011 is entering the universal stage, which is shown in the steps of the Jaguar Pyramid.
The long count calender does end in 2012.

The long count calendar ends on Oct. 28th 2011. It's mistaken for 2012 because of people comparing it to the Gregorian calendar. When they are nothing alike. It's also a clever plot by the powers that be to distract us from the real date. And I have never heard of another ancient culture saying the exact date of 12-21-2012. It is usually just this period in time. The next 20 years or so... The awakening is already happening now :)

true, and i agree with calleman to an extent that october 28th 2011 is the end of the underworlds, but the winter solstice of 2012 is the end of the long count. "the powers that be" didn't help terrence mckenna find out the code in the iching...

I guess fella thought he was gonna expose something. Thank God for people like you. I don't have patience for people who still continue with the old way of thinking. All they are is stubborn people and they are going to face a good deal of troubles with their old ideas as we approach the new age. I appreciate someone like you.. reading the bible from a non-bias view point. It's called having a mind. And that's a large part of what 2012 is about. It's a large part of the awakening. One way all the lies will be exposed is through our very own memories. More than than someone coming along to give us proof. Although we'll have that too. The "aliens" will be upon us like never before in this modern era as 2012 lifts the veil/we enter the 4th dimension. Direct contact not long after 2012.

As 2012 approaches, all I can think about is Revelations in the Bible..With all the talk of Obama possibly being anti-christ and his campaign slogan played backward saying "thank you s----" I watched a show on History Channel the other day, that mentioned all these other cultures you've listed and these details about 2012.
