  • Great Idea. Looks like what they did was took two pieces of wood drilled holes in one and then fastened them together. Awesome!!!! Will have to make myself one Thank you so much for showing us this

  • Wow, what a great idea!

  • It is called a forsner bit and will drill any size hole you need. I love the fact that my husband is a woodworker and can make this for me. I have designed all sorts of schematics for the cabinets I want in the trailer I am making into a scrapbook / hobby "room". If I am ever lucky enough to get a video camera to work on this I will post the work that is being done.

  • @Adriana8930 Its the Funkie Monkie Scraps in South Carolina.

  • yeah you can buy wood that thick, I love the hole thinging. Made me smile. Yes this was a big help. I showed my DH and he said it would be very easy for him to make for me, He is so great coming up with storage ideas for me. LOL Now go enjoy your time while your DH is home.

  • @scrapdiva2 I am glad he can make it for you!!! I love mine!

  • @scrapdiva2 I think they cut it because they can just drill through the top piece and glue it (or screw it) to the bottome piece and the bottom of each holes will be smooth. If they drill individual holes in one big thick piece (which is most costly as the tree trunk has to be bigger), it's hard for them to make the bottom smooth. Using two pieces of wood is much easier. Hope you know what I mean.

  • How thick is it?

  • @Dizzylizzyscreations Its 1.5inches...I hope that helps. :)
