Wrestling gets stupid when the best wrestler's finishing moves, which give them their aura, fails to work like it use to... I would argue that this style of wrestling was the best during Hogan's era. The sport/entertainment had matured, but was not yet tainted by corporate writers that dont understand the true essence of what made the concept popular in the first place. Talent gets replaced for guys willing to work for a smaller paycheck and it gets watered down, like any business.
It's sad that he work so hard and at the end of the day he did lose his family and his money. I'm sure he'll be ok but damn! With the bleachers that close to ring side there is no way, there is 5,000 ppl. Look at BFG in Chicago and look at this weeks TNA

@hambalony No, im being dead serious. You can take it however you want, but they drew less then 5,000 people. They drew 5,000 ppl in Chicago for BFG 2008. Look at the set up for this venue. You have on the hard camera side 5rows of seating. Then there's the bleacher walls witch are about 20 feet talll, then theres all upper seating and its the same thing all around. With the bleachers that close to ring side there is no way, there is 5,000 ppl. Look at BFG in Chicago and look at this weeks TNA

That's why Cena has such respect for Hogan, cuz he wouldnt exist without Hogan.
No one is even close to do what Hogan did for the business. He made people rich.
But it's amazing that the young wwe 12-year old fans thinks that Cena is in the same leauge as Hogan, lol, talk about missing the 80's (superface) 90's (biggest heel) and early 2000 (when he came back for match and got bigger pops then The Rock as HEEL at wrestlemania)
Hogan had the best run in proffessional wrestling history.

Not to mention his disgraceful backstage politics, and his ability to lose a match without making the winner look strong at ALL (like Billy Kidman).

@StopIlluminati1 Rick Flair did a lot more. He made a LOT of guys look good by being such a flamboyant Heel. I can't discount Hogan, but Flair survived an airplane crash. He put guys over when they were drunk or not at their best. He trained a TON of people and has access to the most promotions than even Hogan. Yes, Hogan has had a good run. No question. But some I would think that Flair is even better in some respects.

So Sting v Hogan at Bound For Glory. What about making it a winner retires match. I doubt that has ever happened before. Then Hogan can win and get his wish to retire. If he loses to Sting he has to stay and endure a life of pain and suffering in TNA! I guess he will lose and if he has already signed a new deal, then his personal slide in TNA will continue.

Hogan isn't the reason TNA isnt doing to well, Hogan get's payed to be the Leader of Immortal &doing his job? How is that hogans fault?. If it wasn't for hogan signing for TNA 2 years or so ago, some of you might of not heard TNA at all, some of you could be watching wwe, and maybe never heard of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles etc. so really you should thank Hogan for introducing us to a fresh wrestling company with kickass X division, Knockouts. etc.

Fact is, if it wasn't for HH, more than 90% of people worldwide wouldn't know about pro wrestling

Most of the people don't even know about pro wrestling, but they sure as hell know who Hulk Hogan is.
