  • I'm in Bostic heaven here! I luv it!!!

  • Like it - and the montage of the old locomotives, too!

  • Great stuff. It goes straight into my "Favourites".

Excellent sound quality, by the way, and and I like your visuals.

  • Great to hear such great sax as Bostic..love him...

  • Where is this recording from? I have a different Bostic recording of this song that has slight differences. Mine's from "Earl Bostic For You"

  • Taken from my '78' record.

  • What you have is the stereo reissue of the album "For You", which was done around 1960. The first version was done in 1956. The first album is much more in the Bostic tradition of be-bop. Both albums are outstanding. I would recommend you acquire the first album. It has a collage of pictures of him and the orchestra on the front, and is on the King black label. You can still find a copy on ebay for not too much. Take care!

  • sexy stuff - great-love it

  • He's really great!!

  • Thanks for this post. I have two different arrangements of the same song by Earl Bostic in my collection one in mono and one recorded in stereo. I like the you posted best.
