I wonder if he does this because of being a WW2 POW, I don't know but he would have had no control and choices would have been taken away from him. Perhaps he does this now that he has freedom and control over his life?
While Mr Trebus was clearly affected by his wartime experiences, would those on here attacking those who tried to help him have chosen live next door to him? With all the rats, rubbish and a garden as an open toilet? No. So shut up being idiots.
A least one newspaper gave him an obit of what was known of his life, a later show filmed him happy in a nursing home too, before his death - NOT in 'police custody'. (God, the idiots who comment on here!)
Dual wielding two staffs of oblivion, General Trebus single handedly defeated the evil necromancer armies of City council and protected the castle of Hoardonia. Time and time again the Polican forces charged his mighty barricades, but were withheld by the determination of one man and his dishwashers.
police warrant? magistrates? stick it up your chuffer! classic, still say that to people today, hahahaa! Mr Trebus was a class act, he did it his way so fuck you elf n safety brigade!
Considering Mr Trebus,s background of being in a concentration camp where he would have lost everything including his dignety , it is not suprising that he collected everything .People who have been imprisoned and starved often become food hoarders..
mr trebus really enjoyed his last years in the nursing home, he ended up saying that he wished he had moved out of the house and into the nursing home years earlier..
I can't find it on YouTube but there was a follow up programme which was shown after Mr. Trebus died. From what I remember, the man from the council did actually stick the scaffolding (or at least a small section of it) up his chuffer as it was one of Mr. Trebus' final wishes.
It was a nice thing to do, but I do wonder if he would have bothered had Mr. Trebus' case not been featured on television.
Hi no he died in 2002, in a nursin home cant remeber the Name. his death death was featured in a later series of life of grime, sadly i dont have that show well at lease i dont think i have. the counsil and that kept visiting him at that nursing home. tihnk because of them visiting him and fines of over 50,000 for clearing the hoise and agrden that they droven him to his grave.
Yeh and when they put him into the home he kept stealign the cutlery and takign them up his room. The nurses had to go into hsi room everyday and get all the spoons back he'd stolen lol And thats not a joke by the way, thats what he did. Legend lol :)
He killed mr trebus in the end with stress. he should of just left him alone he was happy

Did Mr Trebus 'conveniently die' in police custody? Man, these health & safety types will stop at nothing to get results!
