WTF 14.7 on 1/4 on a Challenger? I saw a 03 Accord V6 6spd did 14.1 in 1/4. Got to be that dam tires then.

Great question.

Partly the stock Eagle F1's spin like hell. They need to be heated to hook which at the time I didn't have another pair of tires to burn up.

I've talked to others that own those tires and they all have the same spinning problem off the line.

Of course, part of it is probably me mashing the gas too much off the line. I'm still learning and I'm sure it ispart my technique.

I brought it one night at the beginning of June. Was a wet day and didn't do much better. Planning on bringing it back in mid July. I'll post an update.

I'll race yah. My 2003 Maxima GLE runs a 14.3 just givin' you a hrad time though...just a little practice and you'll be just fine...

now did you run a 14.3 or are you assuming, because i know for a fact they dont run that unless theres work done to them

maybe let some air out of the rear ones and put the fronts to reg psi. help with the launch..

no offense but the stock tires are very good maybe a little thin but getting low 13's shouldnt be hard with the F1 supercars

No offense taken. That was my 2nd time ever drag racing (in any car). I definitely have to work on my launch and shift a lot quicker.

yeah no its an art form to run a stick car at the drags it takes alot of practice launching is the hardest part to

245 or 255

coz with 255 if were soft you will get better times

over inflate ur front tires, i had my fronts at 32 psi and went 13.8, when i put them up to 45 psi i went 13.6, still has more in it tho, creates less drag, just make sure you dont drive to or from the track with that much air in the tires lol, only down the strip, maybe ill see you there next year even tho im boycotting NE drag lol

@killermalibu my las trip up there was a pretty shitty time, we drove the 2 hours, then took an hour for our first runs, then after that we waited 4 hours to take a second pass, followed by an hour to make our 3rd...it was just very unorganized, and some of my buddies i was with that go all over country said none of that would ever happen at englishtown

Yup, that's why I need some better tires.  The stock ones are killing me at launch.
