the thing that interests me, how do you roll through a high grade scream, you are to close for it to have not effected you, a roll wouldn't dodge it either, you should have covered your ears when that happened

Evade +2 makes it possible to roll thru his scream since it doesnt have a lasting effect.

Evade +2 makes it possible to roll through a low grade scream, high grade is the problem, like Diablos, Gravios, and Rathalos for example. High Grade screams do infact have a lasting effect, normally running and diving from the scream, even if it's the end of the scream, you can still be stunned by it

I've noticed, (maybe its just me) that roars like Khezu, Diablos, Monoblos, and such that have long scream animations cannot be dodged even by evade +2. but ones like Gravios' rage mode roar can be dodged, just a tad bit harder than normal.

I mean if that's true it's great, cause personally I'd use my Naruga Karuga + Rajang Tasset jeweled out with concentration (Bow is my main weapon) and fight him that way.

It just seems a bit off cause the animation is just as long, and when his roll finishes the roar animation is still happening and the roar effect lasts till the animation is over. Kinda why I'm skeptical on the vid ya know?

I mean sure the animation is faster in rage, but still active after his roll is what I'm getting at

The only one that acts right, in Monoblos or Diablos. I cannot ever jump that move! Unless I jump out of range. Evade doesn't help your jump to.

Gravios and Rathalos you can jump evade. As long as you actually jump at a decent time. Diablos I don't think so. I've tried so many times but failed.

yeah I messed around abit and noticed the Rathalos and my friend did the Gravios roll also, but yeah, didn't think it was possible, guess I was wrong ._.;;.

We've also tried Diablos countless times...still getting nowhere >.>

You have to get a cat with feline heroics that has the right combination you usually use whenever you eat at the feline chicken. For adrenaline +2 you have to make an armor that has potential attribute if you have 10 that gives you adrenaline +1 & 15 gives you adrenaline +2. However I think adrenaline +2 does not carry over or add up when you are using heroics on 2G. But on MHF2 they add up.

there 3 way

1. have Hi-grade earplug

2.block it( with bowgun have a shield attach to it)

3. be as far away as you can

Try constant rolling when he's doing it. Carefully watch yourelf roll and ee which roll evaded the scream. That or practice try at a different timing each time.

To be honest, the only thing that annoys me when fighting Gravios is that stupid march it does every couple of minutes.

There are no dual white fatalis or dual kirin (HR9). The only way to fight them is by using custom quest editor.
