The less said about the "press conference' the better. I wonder if it was Andy sitting next to Slim Whitman that led to him singing "Rosemarie" later or if he was in fact already a fan of Whitman's and perhaps that was why Andy was on Letterman that night?

Looking back at this now, I realize that Andy never DID get back to the Transylvania story that was supposedly the reason that he wanted Dave to interview him again in the FIRST place. It seems as if that was just the "bait" that would allow Andy to plug his upcoming match with Jerry Lawler.

Ok, I just saw it AGAIN and realized that Andy didn't claim that the Transylvania story was HIS, he was saying that someone ELSE had told a really long, story ABOUT Transylvania, that had prevented HIM(Andy) from talking about what he WANTED to talk about; the upcoming match.
