@shobu7777 For me there is no question, I would get the Axial SCX10. The SCX10 has MORE SUPPORT and MORE OPTION PARTS. I'm all about "who" and "what" is behind the brand and again, this is where Axial stands out! Axial is in Irvine, CA. The products are design in Irvine, CA. You can call customer service and talk to guys who are ENTHUSIAST and also like 1:1 off-roading!

Corona del mar is a great place. Every wed. a group of us local OC guys get together with our scalers and go crawling. Mostly scx10's about 6-10 of us are out there. If you wanna see some of these trucks in action or come run with us come out on a wed. We show up starting at about 1:00 - 1:30 and stay till it gets dark then we turn on all our lights and do a lil night runnin. (night runs are usually in the winter cause it gets dark pretty late in the summer)

the speed of these vehicles is what is great for both beginners who are starting and the adult who is into the technical crawling aspects. But the truck does have enough speed to go faster than your walking speed and we do a lot of adventure-hike&crawls where the whole deal is you do not touch the truck and hike into locations while driving the truck. Car Action did a cool story about one of our Adventure Hike & Crawls.

yes you could but i read an article about them in rc driver that said that they do most 2.2 tracks without the 2.2 height

for mine i used some baby food containers i put the electronics inside and ran the wires out a hole i cut in the plastic then used hot glue to seel it it works really well but i thinnk i will upgrade to traxxas electronics

get any brushless motor, they dont say they are water proof but they pretty much are. when your done messing around in water all you have to do, is spray a "little" wd40 on it an bam it will be good as new, i run a brushless in mine n thats what i was told to do by the local rc hobbie shop
