@unit518 What would be better would be to have the one camera on a servo so it can swivel back and forth, but I didn't bother taking the time. I'd probably do that in a serious FPV plane.
I've been reading up on FPV and I found out it is not advised to run both your rc tx and your video tx on the same band even 2.4 - The FPV masters suggest avoiding interference at all cost so I'd keep that in mind. I'm about to install one on a quad flyer and join in the fun!

haha i bought the SAME set up as you(the camera and reciever) it sucks huh? i first bought it, not knowing anything about fpv and i knew this was bad, didnt even go 400feet so when i got more money(well my dad haha) i bought legit stuuf/ ur rite i spent about 700 dollars so its expensive but its worth it. Also i was say that since you have the viewing device and the plane all you need is the fpv gear(300 dollars for the cam, transmitter and reciever) and a 3s lipo to power the fpv.

Yeah it's cheap, and doesn't have the range or complexity of a real FPV plane, but this is just a dabbling into onboard cam stuff until I can afford a real FPV setup.

I'm totally new to this, and I'm currently asking guys on RCgroups about using a 2.4Ghz webcam in an RC plane and what frenquency I should use for the RC radio. I'm totally new to this, in fact I've only had one super short flight with this plane, so I still don't know how it will behave in the air beyond 30 seconds lol. About that...I was given this plane by a dude that doesn't know much about electric RC, and it's a Chinese no-brand so I don't know the exact specs, but I do know the motor is 1000KV, and I think the ESC is at least 20A(no label). I used the same 3-cell 1250Mah 15C battery I used in my delta planes, and that . Do you mean similar as in FPV plane, or scale warplane?
