yes matey even in 92 if we found a satanist down the mess he would have had a kicking and nothing more would need to be said, now things have changed.
Our once great Navy is now a complete shower. All Navymen should be able to give this a go, that would weedle out the women and faggots. I hear the Navy now has a practicing Satanist! The politicians are to blame.
In the glory days of the Royal Navy, 1730's to 1930's a anti-Christian would have been thrown over board. Nelson or Cook would have hanged him. I rest my case.
What a lame comment. I can imagine your weak high pitched voice saying, "here we are in the 21st century". Have you stopped to think what that means? Nothing, Zero. In the 1st century, homosexuality was accepted in Europe, by the 10th century it was illegal. So moving forward in time does not mean we have to become morally corrupt.
Just spent the last couple of hours watching the Field Gun clips and I have to admit it brought a tear to my eyes. If you want to see a 6ft Man grow 4 inches in height; train him to be a Field Gunner and get a Royal Marines band to play 'Hearts of Oak' at the Royal Tournament... From a Man of Air (81' & 94' staff) to all who participated and all those who supported the Royal Navy Field Gun competition, thank you. (Mac ex AEM & Phot)...
Was there in 98 as a member of The Fleet Air Arm, being part of the crew was amazing but the bunch of lads and fun had was of the best i have ever had the good fortune to be part of. if any of the lads are reading this send me a message through youtube would love to get back in touch GIBBO..S6
It was something that, to use an olser saying, the whole family could and would watch. I was lucky enough to have a go at the new competition 2 times and only wish that i could've had a chance to do the real one
Thanks for posting... years of tradition just ditched by this Labour Government in 1999 when the Royal Tournament was cancelled. And for what reason??? The field gun competition was the "Royal Tournament" and anyone who went always said that this was the highlight of the show.
I'm proud to say Nige is a friend of mine - I can confirm he is one 'fick' ex matelot!
ThePurplex - Prat... the commentator has to give the rules each year for new viewers.

You referenced a time between 270 and 70 years ago. Is the Satanist in the Royal Navy of 1804? No. He's in the Royal Navy of 2010.

Or 280 and 80.. could be that =/
