Dude the E30 is a legend. It was the first real M and way ahead of its time.
I you are refering to E46 being a better performer well thats obvious is more then a decade of technology improvement. Thats like saying that the E9X will ass rape the E46 in performance.
the E30 is the best M3 particularly for one reason: It is very light, very very close to the actual DTM car. Picture today's E92 M3, the weight difference is so vast with the M3 Racing car in Lemans.
Its my Dream car I just love the e30 its such a beautiful car in every way so balance. I have a e34 530, I really like my car alot but I love e30 out of all the M cars its looks so powerful, beautiful lines
