Nice video. I noticed my white at 16 or so. Kids would try to pull them out & I'd tell them I'd rather be gray than bald so LEAVE THEM BE :)
I'm now 33 & have realized that for the last 3 years or so I've been coloring my hair not because it's fun & time for a change but because the white is coming in more strands. About a yr ago my stylist told me that about 30% of my head has white hair. My next apt for color & cut is Fri, I'm cancelling & going to learn to love my color. :)
I have been 90% gray since I was 25. At age 50, my hair was becoming a chore to maintain and I decided to go gray. I'm almost through the process and it is honestly one of the most liberating things I have ever done. I do have a lot of naysayers that want me to dye my hair again, but thankfully none of my family or close friends are them. To the naysayers, I just say: nope, I actually like my hair gray. :)
Fabulous video!!! As a silver/white hair person debating whether to stay silver or not this sure makes you appreciate what you've got. Just wish my hair was as thick as some of the women pictured.

OK, found a hair in my hair that does not look like the rest, a pariah among hairs, I'm not sure if it is a low tint hair or an actual grey hair. how do I determine. do I wait to see if there are more. maybe only a fluke. what do u guys think. age 34
When i first read the title of this i thought "Oh god here we go, somebody else slagging people off" but no it's not. What a great video & i even agreed & had a good laugh. Sharon Stone is so beautiful & stunning despite losing her hair!
This video rules. I have run the gamut from very short to medium to currently long during a 10-year period and have appreciated every look. I am just recently allowing the salt-and-pepper to scream out to the world loud and clear. Thanks for this video. And, P.S., Alyssa Milano looked her absolute best in that pixie hairstyle.
As someone with short, salt and pepper hair, I love it much more now than ever. I get more attention about my hair now than ever. Not sure where the phrases came from in this video, I am sure they are things that people say, have said, but they were unfamiliar to me, which is good! I have had women ask me if I get my hair done to look like this, which is funny, I think. I never had any luck in love as a brunette, and the future of love for me only looks brighter, the more gray I get!
I never had the impression that short haired women are unwanted.I just think..all humans are more or less ugly, compared to other animals. It doesn't matter really. And short hair can make women look androgynous,I like that. I admire people who can say "every person is beautiful". Sure, why not,and it'd be awesome If you could walk on the streets and see nothing but beautiful faces.
If you have short hair and even if it is gray, it's alright so long as you're pretty and look like a young Audrey Hepburn or an older but still beautiful Sharon Stone...or something.
Now I must confess, my reaction the titlw as decidedly defensive. I was going to initially come on here and tear someone a new one, but I'm so glad I actually WATCHED the video. This short haired graying woman thanks you creating the wonderfully empowering and affirmative video. Do you have an unmarried brother by chance? LOL
Next do one for long gray hair? I am 39 with natural long hair, gray in front, and although I never thought it would actually happen to me, I had a friend sit me down and tell me I needed to cut it, and how I wasn't finding a job (which I was looking for at the time) or love (which I wasn't) because of it. I've tried not to let that experience get to me, but I find that it's wormed its way into my psyche, and I'm having a really hard time feeling confident about myself these days.
@lizriz I actually made this video for a friend of mine who went through a rough identity crisis when she cut her hair and stopped dyeing it blond. This was her Christmas present.
My life's work is actually about helping people to resolve things that have "wormed their way into their psyche" and embrace their life of fulfillment, confidence, and joy.
If you'd like to have a complimentary session to help you find your confidence, feel free to find a time by adding the word "schedule" to the end of my website link above. That will bring you to my online calendar where we can find a time to see if or how I could help you in any way.
Bravo! And thank you. I love the song, and the reflections. I am 53 and have become, now, maybe 40% silvergray. Well, it's what I'd always intended. I've always subscribed more to a natural beauty. But it's amazing how that decision can stump you for a moment anyway, especially when you live in a youth-area of town, and are surrounded, every day, and in every generation, by dyed hair! But, I am holding my own.=) Peace.~bernadette...
It's funny. About 90% of the photos you have chosen to show are celebrities in glamour shots and red carpet pictures. So women should be inspired to love themselves like Sharon Stone who travels with her own stylists? LOL
I am blown away by this video. I'm still crying. What a beautiful message to women. It has a real personal meaning for me, and I am so touched. Thank you, thank you.
This video was beautifully creative with a meaningful message. Accepting ourselves, accepting others, reaching towards a loving and compassionate life - simple - but complex for us humans.

@belladeballe HA! I'd happily pass on my brother if I had one. :)
Another woman had a very similar experience--clicked on the video so she could find out who to tear a new one for...
She ended up calling me and hiring me to make a new video for her conference! Fun.
I hope the empowerment and affirmation continues to grow in you until it radiates through your whole being--including the top of your head...
