  • ja heftig, ich hab auch gefühlte 60 Monate gebraucht und der zockt es in 60 min durch

  • Your video is a favorite on Havana

  • 1h? Ich habe Monate gebraucht.

  • spiele das spiel gerade wieder mit scumm vm und komme nicht weiter... die schlägereien im schloss sind mir einfach zu schwer. die komplettlösung bringt da auch nicht viel.

  • Love the game, though the music is ASS. But I think it's the part of the fun.

  • Ahh, the good days when you didn't have to listen to a nasally voice betafag while trying to enjoy the game.

  • Ricordo che nella confezione originale era incluso il diario del prof.Jones...

    Quanto mi piaceva....

    che nostalgia....

  • scumm games should make a return

  • 03:00. You realize you can get rid of the students altogether, not just talk your way past them. You just have to get some important info from Marcus.

  • best game ever ! i love it !

  • 0:43:03 Haha voll niedlich^^

  • huh. where were Sam and Max? I feel I missed a cameo.

    Great playthrough!

  • 14:04 I discovered a little glitch at that point. Keep the cursor on the torch, and just after Indy has fallen through the trapdoor, hit the key which substitutes for "Pull" when the icon becomes briefly visible again. Then you can see Indy fall through the trapdoor again ... and again .... and again ...

  • I can't pick that up....

  • am i being punked? why did we have to see indy go through 18 security gates to show a guard a pass that had been signed by the furher. uncannily like film isnt it

  • @sparklebucket

If you didn't get the pass you had to talk or to bribe yourself through all this stations. I think it wasn't taken out of the game even if you had the pass. You also could get less stations if you stayed in the air for longer and shot down more german fighters.

  • Strange. I've never seen the Amiga version of this game. By the way, anyone ever seen or heard of the FM-Towns version of this game? I scored a copy. It's awesome!

  • I LOVE THE AMIGA VERSION :)

  • I got so good at this game I could beat it in all the different endings. I was this shit.

  • Strange...it was always the same grail on my PC..."simple cup with unknown symbols"...

  • i never ended this one was difficult at that time ;)but was real charmin the style from that game i liked it

  • Never got passed the end.. Thanks to this I don't have try and redo it all again!

  • i never finished the castle....so i never finished the game =(

  • This guy messed up in so many ways.

  • One of the few games where the PC version is better than the Amiga version.. a rare exception.

  • another game that is better on the pc is Syndicate

  • @drvoke FM-Towns version is even better than PC and Amiga version.

  • Emperor's Tomb better

  • My all-time favourite game

  • lol censored

  • i love the lucas-arts adventures!i have playit soo much lucas games;)

  • I loved the game,i get it as a present for Christmas 1989 for my amiga 2000 !

Played hours and hours to find new hints !

Dammm, the years going to fast :o)

    Thx a lot for Uploading

  • I never actually played this game but i still have fond memories of fate of atlantis.

  • Great game- good old times and memories.. Love it

  • One of the funniest comments with the border guards was the one that went something like: Indy points at the car with his dad "That man is with the Gestapo" and Indys dad says: "Gestapo? Where?!" I think it lead to a punchout. :) Great game. Still have it and my Amiga. Havent played it for ages. Im gonna test it out! :)

  • what a superb game. a tears in my eyes.. good times.

  • Thanks a lot man. This helped

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooow,

    the memories :)

i played this game for a short time then switched to the Fate of Atlantis" which i had finished.

but in this game i got stuck at the airplane engine starting part :S

now i know what i was doing wrong

    thanks and great job :)

  • Elsa lives?!!!! That's nice

  • Ah, the memories

  • This came out a few years before Fate of Atlantis. That is why 'Atlantis' had better graphics and full voice.

I just found out you can download both of these games from Steam and they play perfectly on Vista.

They also have 'Loom,' fyi for any Lucasarts adventure fans out there like me.

  • I never figured out, which grail is the right one. How do you find out which is the true grail?

  • You watch the movie.

  • Read the manual or guess. The carpenter's cup is a simple clay cup, or as family guy showed the coffee with Jesus' name on it haha.

  • Comment removed

  • i always enjoying the intro of some reason :D

  • O man you forgot to get the Sticky tape!

  • I always found the fighting and flying parts to be the toughest. Most of the time I just tried to B.S. my way past all the guards.

  • OMG! The stupidest line in the whole game is at 46:05!

*Indy walks up to his dad who is on the ground*

Indy: Hey, Dad, get up. This is no time to take a nap!

Indy's Dad: Sorry, Junior! Come on, lets go steal a car!

    LOL!

  • I never got past the catacombs as a kid...it was SO hard and this was before you could look stuff up...so I eventually gave up...I wonder what happened to my game?

  • Same, I never figured out how to get that damn torch off the wall. Seriously, who new to fill the wine bottle with water?

  • i think Indiana Jones: and the fate of atlantis looked alot better - i dunno which came out 1st tho.

  • Indiana Jones and the last crusade was launched on 1989, only 16 colors available (EGA on PC).

Indiana Jones: and the fate of atlantis was launched on 1992 and offered 256 colors option (VGA on PC).

I played both, but only finished Atlantis!

  • I played this a lot when I was younger, but finished the game for the first time a month ago, almost twenty years later.. I loved that game!

  • atlantis is one of my fav games! Oh the good ol days of DOS games where installing it was harder than beating the games!!

  • Atlantis was also MUCH better than this turd.

Lucas the tight ass didn't want to pay the same team i think so no voice actors AND worse graphics.

I'll stick with Atlantis, great game.

  • This game was a straight port from PC (so was FoA), because LucasArts didn't program for Amiga, so it was either having this or not having it at all. By then, that was the best graphics we could have on the PC.

Also, this game is much older than FoA.

Voice acting? Jesus! it's frigging 1989 we are talking about! FoA didn't get voice acting on release, either, not until CD format began to be supported around 199-93, and that's when LucasArts started to made voice versions of their classics.

  • But there is also a vga version of Indy and the last crusade with cd-music quality....

  • 1 hour long?!

  • Elsa made it out alive?!

  • my first own computer game (i know this is amiga but who cares it was the same game) never did it far as a child :)

but i played through some years ago nice game nice memories

  • ok I am really stretching the memory here and I actually can't remember if I had a demo or full game, but I remember starting in some mine shaft, jumping various animals on top of train carriages and scaling castle walls non of which I see here anyone help me out?

  • Maybe it was the temple of doom?

  • this game and monkey island 1 the best

  • At this time it was one of the Greatest Games. Amiga was by far the Best Gaming Computer and this Game really made the Adventures get to another level.

  • The best adventure games were on the Amiga. No better ever since

  • yea right.. this game looks way better on pc ur a fool

  • Impressive graphics in a game, which came out in 1989.

  • @Terra70 Eh, for DOS, yes. For Amiga on the other hand...no.

  • Why did you ring the bell at 2:29? Just for fun, or does it help in one way or the other?

  • Those were the times where LUCASFILM knew how to make an UNBELIEVEABLE GAMING EXPERIENCE for US players.....

  • At the height of my playing this game, I could shoot down around 15 planes before they could get me. I was the bomb!

  • I love this game, and Fate of Atlantis too! Amigas and SCUMM games rule!! :-)

  • It was a very good game I played it in on my fathers old Machintosh Quadra 610. Much better sounds and music in the Macintosh version :)

  • all thats 8bit = awesome

  • 8 bit indy theme music= awesomeness!

  • -She must pick up the cup because she was bad lady (she was Nazi) Suddenly, this was start earthquake and she will die by herself.

-When Father got Indy Jones's arm because he tried to reach the cup. Father called him ""Indiana"" Indy felt change his mind. (Just like as movie)

  • Good vid

  • There's actually an even better way to get past the angry students at the beginning -- just tell them to find another faculty advisor, and then tell them to go see another guy. When you go back, the students will be gone! Heh, foisted them off on some other Prof.

  • oh god, i was robbed on the c64 version... sigh

  • "You can't do anything to convince me to go!"

    BAAM!!

    "except maybe that !"

hilarious !! the moment was suppose to be tragic not funny LoL

  • Still one of my favorite games of all time. Monkey Island is on my list as well.

  • 100% agree!

  • 36:30 ... the end of my skills :(

  • played this as a kid, so much nostalgia, is there anywhere I could download this?

  • buy the original game on ebay

  • fucking loved to play this game on my sega genesis

  • who made this?

  • One of the best Point-&-Click-Adventures ever !

  • ci giocavo . MITICO. MERAVIGLIOSO

  • i lvoe the humour in this game, 'theres nothing that could make me get that grail for you' (his dad gets shot) 'except maybe that'

  • I remember trippin out playing this at 7 years old and, at 15:30, waiting for 20 minutes to see if all the water would eventually drain out. It never does, lol.

  • " And who might you be? " *punchedintheface*

  • Good game. The FM Towns version is quite a bit better though but this one is great as well.

    Classic :)

  • I have this in his original package!!! My favourite game ever!

  • AMIGA IS DA SURVIVOR!!!!!!!!!

  • die guten alten zeiten ^^

  • I still have this game! OMG thanks to youtube I might be able to bet it now. I got stuck under the church... I hated the facted I doun't find a way out without being caught.

  • This is the best youtube add of games ever

    :-D

  • This game was designed to make you cry out of frustration because of its difficulty. Specially for anyone who gets to play this for the first time.

  • specially in the castle. It is a pitty they didn't make any stage whith the tanks path

  • This game is a legend. My all time favorite. 256 color version is much better though.

  • HA! Hindenburg model at 26:45!

  • please I need help I have the original game but at 2:00 in this video, in my computer the game asks me for a password, but I dont have the "traductor " that is needed. can somebody help me?

  • In the original game you should have the code to translate it. It is quite difficult to find them in the internet but i am sure that they are somewhere. I have the game with the codes, but not here at the moment, i could scan them and send them to you in december, They are 4 pages with letters and columns. Anyway if you use de SCUMM system you don't have to use the codes i think.

  • I preferred the Zeppelin

It was easier for me to beat the big guy than to get the dang plane to start

  • Make that the boxer champ, not Biff

  • lol.

  • holy shit...a game?!?!?!

  • This is one of the hardest games I have ever played!

  • i remember this game for the first time when i was 6, i became obsessed with indiana jones and played it out side with my dads fedora type hat at the time lol. good times.

  • i think i had a hint book for this... and it was STILL hard

  • WTF! I left this game 20 years ago due I couldn't cross off the abysm on min 53:45", I spent days and days trying and I always failed, you did it very quick! I was just one step to the end. :(

  • My favourite game of ever and I think of most of us... what incredible adventure games in 1989-1990... Ron Gilbert and Lucas are genious!!!

  • The graphics of this version of the game are god awful...

  • This game was fooqing hard!

  • then go again to henry´s house, remove the plant and the white table cloth from the table next to the left wall , to reveal a chest, use the key on the chest and there you will find a book , i dont remember for what that book is but anyway it must be useful for something hehehehe -Bye

  • hehhe hey cubex55, your videos are the best man thx for uploading them just one thing in this one:At the beggining , in henrys house, you forgot to move down the upper bookshelf, there is a piece of masking tape, pick it up, use in the black and blue flask located in the cupboard in indy´s office and then you get a key...

  • hahahahahaha. 59 min and 59 sec. one more second and it reaches one hour.

  • oh wow you must be a genious that you found out 1 more second of 59 min 59 sec is 1 hour. i envy you!!!! lame

  • Just making a comment. But if you can't handle an obvious comment, gee i can't even imagine how it would be for the people who live with you, or are your friends. I guess you don't even have friends, 'cause of your bitchy attitude

  • "CENSORED". It's allways the same, if you dress Indy up or if he gets cut in half if you're doing wrong...

  • The carefree days of youth, I actually lived this fucking game, best days of my life. No bills etc.

  • what happened to the zeppelin

  • there are many ways of pass this game, you can use the zepellin if you steal the tickets or if you buy one but if you know already how to use the plane you can skip that part

  • Lol - when I completed this on the amiga, I didnt get the pass to show the guards at all the roadblocks towards the end - meaning I had to fight every single one! Took me weeks cus I kept dying!

  • Horrible? I hope you're joking. Sure, it's not as good as Fate of Atlantis, but it's still a great Lucasarts (or better, Lucasfilm) adventure.

  • Jo,mi primer juego de ordenador, mi primera aventura gráfica....ahí fue dond eme enamoré de ellas.... (de Indy ya lo estaba... ;-))

  • mamma mia...quanti ricordi!!!

  • loved this one...was glad that one day one those british gamemagazines came with a walktrough.

  • monkey island is still better

  • Best game of ever with The secret of Monkey Island!

Imagine how many troubles in the Nazi castle without the graal painting!

  • looks like 'Maniac Mansion' dude.

  • So in the Amiga version, there is no Sam & Max totem at Indy's office

  • HAHAHAH

    when henry gets shot

"you cant o ANYTHINg to convince me to go"

    BAM!

    "except maybe that"

    LOL!

  • first time i played i challenged the boxer at the start and got FUCKING whoopped

  • man what gay ending, else supposed to die and what happened to that Arab dude and also I wondered what would have happened if you punched Hitler instead or giving him the pass?

  • if you punched hitler, a soldier with an mg comes from the side and gives you a lead-poisoning

  • best of it, the "death-text": Indy was the only american who hit Hitler. Unfortuneatly, nobody knew about

  • Lol I started to watch this and it looked familiar and then I remembered that I played this nine or eight months ago.

  • What the bleep did they do to the plot???

  • It was several months later that I discovered - by accident - that you simply had to click on the other side without hesitating! Hesitating until Marcus calls Indy or turning around means death. I felt really not amused. It was just one mouse click that had been missing all the time!

  • This was my very first adventure game on the Atari ST and one of my most precious childhood memories. I managed to complete the game in about a month, but got stuck on the last challenge, the one where you had to cross the canyon. I thought it must have something to do with the two lion statues to the sides, but whatever I tried, I always fell into my certain death. Disappointed, I gave up.

  • I never could get past the first trial, couldnt figure out where I was supposed to stand... nice to see the ending after all these years

  • Awesome, never played Indiana Jones and the last crusade on the Commodore Amiga, unfortunatly just the spectrum. :(

  • cubex u rock! i loved this game, but could never see the ending...thanks a lot

  • great! thanks! i was looking 4 this!

  • GREAT VIDEO. Thanks for posting it up.

  • Thanks 4 that. Played the game in the late 80s.

    Love that game!!!

  • yea, great game, thanks for the vid. :)

  • Thanks for this video! It brings back a lot of memories of playing this game - one of the few computer games I ever managed to complete! I'm a bit depressed to see you manage to zip through it in 60 minutes though - I remember it taking four or five months for me to do the same thing!
