Guardians of Idiocracy. Great job on repeating the "Democrats want to take your guns away" bullshit. Jones does a great job of instilling fear though. He takes a reasonable law, gun registration to make sure criminals and nut jobs don't get them, and says "oh their just using that so they can take your gun away." This is what's wrong in America folks. People who don't want to give an inch on reasonable laws and standards. I'm tired of the "no guns" crowd and the "no restrictions" crowd.

Well, politics aside... The founding fathers considered the right to bear arms the 2nd amendment... not to protect us from each other, but to protect ourselves from a corrupt government. The second amendment has nothing to do with keeping firearms out of the hands of criminals... all I see is that obama is no different than any other policician regardless of their political affiliation: a liar. nice dog.

And I tottally support the 2nd Amendment. It's just as valid as the 1st Amendment and it should never be removed from the Constitution. All I'm saying is there have to be restrictions. Like any other right, reasonable restrictions should be placed on it. I will say though that the thing that has kept this nation free isn't gun ownership. It's been the seperation of powers and three equal branches of government. Which making sure no one man has too much power.

Don't be angry because you don't understand that thousands of restrictions are already law towards the 2nd Amendment. And it depends on what the ex-con did, was he in jail for tax fraud or murder? If it's tax-fraud, yes he should be able to own a gun, if it's murder, he should not be getting out of jail. And the last time I checked, nuclear weapons and bazookas are not guns, they are explosive devices. And yes, reasonable gun-law with thousands of gun-laws in place, is an oxymoron.

Actually my argument was that they were not extremeists, there were junkies. There were also only cast out during the midst of their persepctive drug problems, but have since been honored quite frequently. Well yeah, I do agree he has a point about not relequishing out rights to bear arms. But that's about it. I would strongly oppose a ban on arms, I would fight for that right. And I am about as warry of big govt as I am of big buisness. But I think Obama's got bigger problems to worry about atm, like I dunno gettin' us the f outta this depression! lol. However, it is also a major contributing factor to our current economic state. We spend billions on foriegn aide, military support, and military actions.
